Edgar Hansen gave iWitness a personal tour of the digs inside the Northwestern. This crab-catching vessel is currently home in Seattle getting fixed up before heading back out to sea to star once again on the television series, "The Deadliest Catch."

These brothers really compliment each other. With Sig at the helm and Edgar's knowledge of the boat and always with a good crew. Definitely demand the respect. I think the time bandit is right up is in this league also. The best boats on the show no doubt.

@@hellhoundactual8201 probably more like 30+ cartons a man, that would be 6000 cigarettes or something if im thinking right and i would guess they smoke at least 40 cigs a day, maybe more. I smoke 20-30 a day and i sure am not a fisherman.

Actually, they reached an agreement with Discovery, so Time Bandit and Northwestern will be back next season.

I just saw them on Larry King Live and they told what goes on during the season at sea it's hell. Capt. Phil Harris said it not that if you can or cant do it, it's if you got the heart to do it year after year. yeah the payday is great but what about all the bills that collected at home for the past weeks on weeks will you were gone. that 50, 60g's get gone quick

I just read in the news that Discovery sued the Hillstrands for not fulfilling some agreement on a spin off show and Sig was backing the captains. It said filming for next season was supposed to start in Oct. but the 3 captains quit. The show is going to suck without these guys.
