[RAW] Yamaha MT-09 SP LOUD TUNNELRUN | Mivv | Quickshifter

There it finally is! The tunnel run with my new Yamaha MT-09 SP! After 2 years of riding my Yamaha MT-07, I decided to purchase an MT-09 SP because I was ready for a bigger bike and more power.
For this bike I have chosen the Mivv X-M5 exhaust made possible by MDI Online from the Netherlands. Further more I protected the whole bike with Evo Tech fall protection.
This is a tunnel run in the Netherlands with the MT-09 SP with a Mivv X-M5 exhaust with the DB killer in it! There is a video coming up where I drive the same tunnel but without the DB killer.

Honestly it's backfiring the same amount as the stock exhaust, you can just hear it better with this exhaust. I want this exhaust for mine so bad

Have you noticed any loss in low end torque?

I just installed the Mivv and I definitely notice a loss in the low-mid end torque. I personally feel it pulled harder in 3rd w stock exhaust. The sound is incredible. It’s so much louder than stock and still sounds great w the db killer in. The upshifts and downshift sounds are worth the slight loss in torque lol. I just sent my ecu out to VCycleNut today and have a DNA stage 2 coming. I’m sure the torque will be back after the flash.

In the US about the only exhaust available is akra, and it's F ing ugly, don't know what they were thinking. Pre-order Yoshimura now, get it in jul-aug. Looks WAY better and I have no doubt it will perform just as well.

I’m in US and have the Mivv. Ordered it from BellissiMoto in Vegas. I’m in NY. It is a great looking and sounding exhaust but definitely needs a flash

@@anthonymantovani5781 Agreed on the flash. Don't waste money on exhaust if not doing flash at same time. I take that back, only akra and mivv have exhaust available. Mivv does look WAY better than that god awful unit akra made. I had yosh on my '18, pretty good shit and looks as good as anything IMO. 2wheeldynoworks, quite well known, is in my neck of the woods and they like the yosh on mt09, their 1st choice. Yosh made as much power as any other exhaust if not more and yosh quality/value S good as any......unless you're going to spend the better part of $2k on a Graves titanium system, which I'm sure they don't even make yet for new gen mt09.

@@dg8062 Yosh has always been great and I was planning to get it until I saw a bunch of guys on Gen 3s having quality control issues with the poor welds and header’s having exhaust leaks and than they weren’t getting good customer service with their issues from the company so I canceled my order and went Mivv. Dominator is another great option for this bike. they have a few models and seem well built at a great price.

Just finish my MIVV install last night…from when I ordered to install about three weeks. Came a L the way from Italy to Texas! No regrets looks and sounds awesome! Best one out there and man I have looked!

Throw on a exhaust system without what you guys cal "tuning" your bike and it will actually make LESS horsepower and run worse than stock. Yes, I have seen the the experiment run both ways on last gen and new 21>. Don't waste your money on exhaust system unless you're going to have someone competent flash it at the same time as installation.

I just got the dominator gp3 for my 21 mt 09sp and it actually gains 5hp before the tune even takes place

Mivv claims that with the XM5 you dont need ecu flash. In fact, I call them and they told me bike should be just fine in comparison with stock. I installed the XM5 on mine last week and I found it just like normal. The bike pushes just like with the stock system. So in answer to your comment, you need to tune the bike just in some cases, not this one. And I have tested a lot of MT 09s.
