We headed out for a quick trip to the SWFL causeway bridges at Sanibel Island before the storms started rolling in.
We are Salty Strikes, a Florida fishing channel making saltwater fishing videos. We try to be the best fishing channel we can be by share our love of fishing to beginners and seasoned veterans alike. Fishing Ponce Inlet, New Smyrna Beach, Daytona area. We also like to visit Florida's west coast to do some Tampa Bay and Skyway fishing all the way down to Sanilbel Island Fort Myers area for some great Gulf fishing. We would like to venture down to do some Key West fishing, its on our to do list.

Awesome video! Glad Kim got her redemption! One quick tip for her. Get her to let the rod do the work. I noticed when she has a big fish on she likes to grab the rod above the top grip. Unless you want to break the rod teach her to only use the grips. High sticking it will eventually snap the rod if you grab too high up on it. Might save you some equipment down the road. Keep up the good work!

Michael Foote ... Kim’s, Penn Passion 5000, Ughly Stik GX2 6’ heavy rod, 50lb braid & Fluoro leader, fish finder rig 2-3oz egg sinker depending how strong the current is and a 3/0 inline circle hook.

*Really a Great Fight and Win Kim... A better workout than going to the Gym and no mask issues, eh? Ok... So Chris, when are you going to do a Catch Clean and Ray Cook? The first one I ever ate was Visiting Cape Coral back in '71...A family friend from Korea taught me how to clean and fixed it and It was amazing delicious... But I much prefer the French/British Style of poached served with brown butter lemon,, parsley & capers* Thanx Much ..gw

Roadstar 1963 ... we don’t live there, just visit when we can. We mostly fish out of Ponce Inlet. We have lots of video in both areas, feel free to check them out 😁👍

Roadstar 1963 ... we’ve been thinking about buying down here too. Wish ya didn’t have to go so far offshore to get into the good grouper though.

@@SaltyStrikes Yea we have a bay boat so we mostly fish Matalacha Paas and Pine Island sound from November till April. We don't venture off shore.
