They are the same thing, the point where the rays converge or appear to converge. FYI....The focal length is the distance from the focal point to the lens or mirror.

Yes and I live in Berlin. I would say read children's books, watch KZfaq vidoes for simple Deutsch, then move to a German speaking country. Viel Erfolg!

thank you for the comment, the videos are made with keynote and recorded directly on my computer with quicktime. In the past I have also use Screenflow an screen capture program for the Mac. It records what is on your computer screen and what your computer camera sees. But I do not have it on my current Mac.

Question: the Eye is also a lens. You aren't accounting for the direction of the light once it passes through the eye lens.... why not? and does that change the results?
