It's so blatant, now.. I don't think they're scripted but the games are certainly fixed. I still think the players actually play but the coaches probably know what plays each other are calling, every play. They still need to make good throws, catches etc.

The only counter argument to be made in regards to Ray Lewis’s conspiracy theory, the very next year the Broncos and Seahawks Super Bowl was more lop sided than this one. Yet there wasn’t a black out or anything to slow down the Seahawks

There was no helping the Broncos that game. They were done right from the start and when Harvin returned the kick to start the 2nd half they figured the only way to help Denver was to BLOW UP the stadium and they couldn't do that. HA!

Dude. I was worried about the first snap all week cause John Fox went on and on about how he didn’t think it was necessary to practice with noise because he said it wouldn’t be that loud. That first snap dismantled the O line mentally. On top of Seattle playing on a whole other level. Even with that I just knew we’d come back for the fairy tale come back. Then Percy, ran that kick back, I was already devastated. Fast forward a couple of years and I trained Percy for a while. The first thing I said to him was, I don’t know if I can train you. You broke my heart. He asked how and we got a big ol laugh out of it. Every time I’d make him do something particularly brutal, he’d remind me he wasn’t the only one who played in that game. I know he gets a bad rap in the the press, and I can’t speak to that, but he was always super respectful and cool, helped clean up after, and would always associate with my everyday clients coming and going

I remember this super bowl well. I'm 99% sure those lights went out by design. It was a blowout. The NFL wanted and needed that game to be competitive. A lot of $$ riding on that game between the revenue brought it from commercials as well as the gamblers who greatly influence pro football

A possible reason for that blackout was the Superdome was fully restored not long after severe damage from Katrina and all those people using it as a shelter. My theory is that there was a mistake in the electrical rewiring during the rebuild, and this electrical fault only presented itself during that Super Bowl, where maximum current would have been used. And No, I don't buy into all the Conspiracy/Fixing stuff about the NFL.

Even as a 49ers fan, this was a mess of a game. No helmet to helmet on Crabtree on third down. Ravens players fought the refs and didn't get one ejection. No block in the back on the kick return. Not one hilding on the offense that led the regular season in holds vs Justin Smith and Aldon Smith. Ravens won, but the pro-Ravens refs were too obvious, and they had to swing it back and get the 49ers back on the game. Not even one flag on 10 ppayers holding on the final punt to drain clock??? Jim would have declined, but to not even throw a flag and go through the proper procedure? I am not mad the 49ers lost. I am mad at how obviously rigged that game was, and people still play stupid.
