So glad I was eating while watching this 😂 Food looked delicious especially the fish & chips 😋 I tried the other Ray's last year when I was over but it was closed and it was a Saturday which was unusual but I'm over again in 3 weeks so will absolutely head there and tell them Ana recommended it 😊 Nice also to see Spanish people trying British cuisine, it's really much better that people think

First time we visited Ray's 1 early 90s ,sign used to say Ray's 2 no connection ,preferred in the early days ,but only go Northern Sole now by far the best we've tried ,pies amazing also.

Rays fish and chips is one of the best fish and chips I have ever eaten, this place is a must when you visit Benidorm

I will try on Monday Ana we kept looking to wave today. Looks nice. I had lovely fresh sardines today. I need to find a very good paella now, we might try that in La cala tho in that restaurant you said was lovely on the corner in green.

Hi Ana. I was wondering if you have any videos on Spanish restaurants? I have watched loads of your Benidorm videos and enjoy them immensely. I have watched loads of the videos with tapas bars but are there many restaurants you could recommend? I would love to have a full on Spanish experience, my wife and I dressing for dinner, sitting down and eating late evening for a couple of hours enjoying Spanish food, a glass of wine and the ambiance. Looking forward to visiting the end of April for 10 days and hope to visit some of the sights and places you have highlighted on your engaging uploads, maybe even a wee visit to Altea, looks beautiful. There are many nice restaurants! One at the end of the Gerona Street, it’s a 100% Spanish restaurant - El meson. Very nice Spanish restaurant on the fancier side in Albir - Enrique, Spanish seafood, meats, fish. On the poniente beach you also have 3 of them: Falúa, Ulia & Nautic

@@BenidormbyAna Ana thanks for replying and for your recommendations. So looking forward to getting over to enjoy the delights of the Costa Blanca. We’re actually staying on the Poniente Beach so we will be able to have a wee stroll to some of those restaurants. The restaurant in Albir sounds really exciting. That will give us a fantastic destination to aim for when we visit. We will definitely take a look at El Meson. ¿Donde está la carta, AHORA? jejeje can’t wait. Thank you so so much Ana x

Hi ana it’s chris from sunset waves. My friend is going to be in Murcia airport but is going to meet me in benidorm. Is there a way to get direct to benidorm from Murcia airport or what is the best idea

There are buses probably you can take to Benidorm bus station, a taxi, rented car, etc

I ve eaten here before, the decor is nice and a bit old fashioned, the staff are very friendly, the chips are good and the fish is ok, but they use eggs to make the batter a more yellow colour (which is wrong and a bit eggy tasting) + the batter is also oily (not cooked at the right temperature)...........just being honest!

Ours wasn’t that oily, we don’t usually eat the fish n chips, but overall we liked it, if there’s better places you can recommend, I think other Travellers would appreciate it too 👍🏼

I don’t think so, it had the color of then you peel the skin off, but I didn’t feel any skin

Hi ana sorry to say my husband and myself went Last Oct we both got food poisoning as soon as we walked out we felt sick and was sick the both of us ,thay must of left the delivery outside in the morning in the heat or something ,

Rays 2, Avenida Mediterraneo 58 Behind the tobbaconist, 03503 Benidorm Spain is the best fish and chip shop in Benidorm and far and away the best of the remaining Rays Chippies.
