I don't think it's a gangster movie. But I do think it's one of the best movies in ages. Great cast, great story, the music, the marriage of wardrobe & set, and it has a great ending. Hard to say who was the leading man, Matthew is awesome, Charlie is so chill, Hugh's character is a huge departure from his prior films, Colin was great as the Coach, the Toddlers, Big Dave , Henry as Dry Eye, Tom Wu, and Jeromy was a great weasel. To me, I would say it's a toss up between Charlie & Matthew. Both were lovely. "The Gentleman" is a perfect name. Michelle did a a great job in those shoes! Loved this movie! 💯👍🔥💕🎶❤️🍀🤓😎⚜️💙😂 Bonnie Blue 💙

I know it's not the focus of the scene, but Arlsan's knowledge of who Micky was, and his considerably greater bravery than the others goes a long way to hint that he's far more aware of the world Raymond, Micky, etc move in. Which is of course, important. Given the ending.

Guy Ritchie likes his Russians brave and sometimes apparently unkillable. Boris the blade and the chechens from rocknrolla are my favourites.

This scene confirmed for my that this movie was in many ways a spiritual successor to Layer Cake.

Messy is expensive. Professionals do it. Clean, quick and quietly. You in, you out. No fuss. Blood bodies and bullets are sloppy work.

Hunnam deserved an Oscar for this. How many things can one man be while just talking, walking, and smoking? He was charming, kind, intimidating, witty, wise, scary, friendly, all while being the coolest MFer ever.

What Oscar would he get? This is a fantastic performance but the role isn’t written in a way to garner an Oscar.

Ok, become a low level gangster, kill a lot of people, rise through the ranks, gain the trust of a majot king pin, become his second hand man, and you are done. Good luck!
