90 percent of people living with scleroderma have the distinctive color changes in the hands that define Raynaud's. About half of people with scleroderma may also develop painful ulcers of the skin, particularly in the fingers. A much smaller percentage of people will develop severe painful ischemic involvement of the fingers. In this module, there is a discussion of the changes in the blood vessels and in the flow of blood that can lead to Raynaud's, ulcers and severe ischemia. Treatment options are also discussed in this session.
