Got to wonder why this story is blowing up. What is really being hidden. America is a dirt country. They don’t even report on all of the Red Necks in TX that have been accused of this exact same thing. It gets swept and the charges are lessed to probation. Don’t believe me just research some of the county records in Texas.

Oddly enough the child marriage laws were just updated in Ohio and Pennsylvania. My aunt was married at 14 or 15.

Yes, it is legal for a 17-year-old to marry in Ohio if they meet certain requirements: They must have consent from the Juvenile Court They cannot be more than four years older than their spouse They must complete a Marriage Counseling Form before obtaining a license from the Probate Court They must wait 14 days after the Juvenile Court files its consent order with the Probate Court before applying for a marriage license They must present the Consent Order from the Juvenile Court along with all other required documentation when applying for a marriage license

"After a thorough and exhaustive examination, we have completed our investigation into the information circulating on social media about Josh Giddey," the statement said. "Our inspectors reviewed all available information and have been unable to corroborate any criminal activity related to Mr. Giddey," he added. I’ll take the police word for it.

Don’t forget accusation is not conviction. Innocent until proven guilty. Just because someone gets charged with a crime, does not mean they are found guilty.

And yet, senator Menedez was buying 14 year old “S workers” in Dominican Republic as a 60 year old man, and selling influence for Gold bars (years later) and still serving in our senate. 21 to 14 is not wild considering it’s a third world country. When I lived in Philippines, a famous Pinot singer in his 60s was married to a 16 year old girl and no one had a problem with it. I was the only one acting offended, everyone else thought it was funny.

Does not make it right, smart or sensical for any child anywhere on this earth to indulge in adult behaviors ie supporting a household, having sexual relations, having babies, making financial decisions, heading countries [ an exception as long as adult advisors are on hand]. BTW I think the age of consent should be raised to 21 in this country. I am sick to death of adults panting, leering and lusting after children, teens and young adults

Really crazy if you grew up with all the commercial on TV in the mid 80s and now our government is pushing medicine commercial to fool people.
