The Umpires have been AWFUL! Now plunking a batter after a homerun is not always looked upon well, but Peralta didn't directly or it didn't seem that he intentionally hit him. Umpires, like Angel Hernandez have been blowing calls every game. The Yankees manager was tossed out for harassing the ump, but it was a fan and NOT the manager. The MLB needs to correct these issues. They alter the rules, change extra innings, etc yet the idiocy of the umpires is left to make constant mistakes!

Been playing ball for near 60 years, at all levels and continued with baseball and fast pitch softball into my 60’s, at a pretty high level. What changed, and it’s not confined mind you but as Latin players started to integrate into the game, that’s when the increase in showing-up the opponent started to appear. Yes, I understand the ‘get the guy out and he won’t showboat’ but it’s the increasing antics that prompt this. Hit your home run, with your paltry 215 average, and run the GD bases and go to work on improving your OB %.

Okay, I've been extremely critical of this team's transactions and moves. However, there are some unbelievable things happening that we haven't seen in a while. One, our offensive issues have changed for the better. Hitters over .300 for the first time in a while. Two Contreras, OMG his defense has been outstanding! His arm is a rocket and he's been picking off runners stealing better than we've ever seen. Three, the rookies, second year players have been playing with some guts and some heart. B.Turang, J.Chorio, and others have really made this team exciting. I was harsh on this team's chances. I hope, I really hope that they can excel and progress more and more. And while I was extremely critical of the Corbin Burnes trade, actually I was livid, Joey Ortiz has proved to be the prospect he was touted as. I still think the Brewers should have gotten more for Burnes however. Sorry but as I said before the was this team brings up stellar players and then unloads them in routine fire sales is frustrating. Still this team has been pretty amazing so far.

Nobody pays admission to see any ump. They're there to do a job, that's it. There's no accountability for these guys, so they can do whatever they want, whenever they want. They can suspend and fine players, managers, coaches, but there's no accountability for them? How many times have bad calls cost teams, players big time, for no reason? How many times has an ump losing HIS ability to control himself, choosing to take things personally, make it about HIM and not THE GAME, cost a team or player? But it never costs the ump anything, not once. That ump in this game was emotionally out of control, just like the one this weekend, and it affected their judgement. Here we have a pitcher tossed, without a warning, for "intentionally plunking" a batter in the THIGH on a 3-0 pitch.🤔 Why? Because the umpire was EXPECTING it the way the batter acted after his home run. He was waiting for HIS opportunity to be "the big man taking control of the situation" and "showing everyone who's in charge here." If the pitcher wants to plunk a batter, or send a message, he does it with the first pitch and puts it a foot higher. That ump was waiting for HIS time in the spotlight. Otherwise, a great game! Congrats to the team, and to the young man and his whole family! Welcome to WI!

Vegas must have had big money on this game or the umpires. MLB corporate is pathetic. Start suspending umpires. Only participants in the game not held to the same standards as everyone else. Can't get suspended or fined for a piss poor performance and/or professionalism

Umps are terrible. Seems like some little league bull .. peralta hit him in the hip after the guy stunted after a h.r. that's normal. This all blew up because the umps overreaction.
