Omg, he just said a mouth full when he said everyone turns their back on you. My WHOLE family has turned their back on me because I continue to speak out. My mom used to try and shut me down when I would bring it up and say we don't talk about that. I told her once in an angry loud voice "DON'T tell me don't talk about it, it happen to me not you and I'll talk about it as much as I want and it's been 40 plus years and I STILL talk about her brother molesting me. If she had done something it would have saved many other relatives!

Being a victim of sexual abuse as a child, I found it interesting when RazB told Jason he felt comfortable with him regarding sharing his story..that's something I've picked up throughout the years..analyzing who actually is listening with an am empathic ear or just hearing you while passing judgement on you.

I 100% believe Raz. I was touch by uncle when I was 13 and he was 19. I just recognized what he did to me last year. I was 31. Sometimes these things are not something a human can understand in the moment. It can take years for them to realize it. And I myself was called a liar after someone found out. At age 11yrd old, I made the decision to turn in my step-dad and my Uncle (marriage). My Uncle had abused my cousin (his step daughter) very often, my Mom & Aunts and other cousins male & female. I was young & tired but was ready for it to happen again to handle it!!!! Then when my step dad did what he did, my teachers knew something was wrong by 3rd period. I burst! Emotionally,Mentally, physically. But i spoke. I didn't miss my chance to save my family & myself!!!!! I told it all....... What a powerful interview. Triggers so much in my soul and in my memories. As a latina, growing up my Mom was always so strict about sleepovers. Even "normal" things like going to the movies or the park with friends. She always checked my underwear, bras, and asked specific questions. I always thought she was being annoying or overprotective... I'm so thankful for that protection, even if I experienced it (assault) instead as an adult. Eventually we all grow up to better understand evil itself while also appreciating the guardian angels we had all along. It's clear Raz had no one to protect him then from abuse and even now. We must all protect those who need us in their battle. Personally, I don't agree with the silent treatment of his band mates. They don't have to experience the same past to speak on Raz's character and integrity when it comes to honesty. And I don't believe personally, that money should be such a huge factor that you can be so dismissive regardless of how it destroys your band mate and friend. It speaks loudly of them as well as men, and even as parents in my opinion. Those who can relate to Raz, know he's being honest. It's hard to lie about. The signs are there. And those who thankfully cannot relate, are the greatest help when they educate themselves on the signs. Not just for the cause of supporting Raz, but protecting the men and women around them, regardless of age. I wish this got more attention and it's concerning that it hasn't. Maybe Raz should reach out to Tyler Perry who has the personal education and even finances to help Raz B psychologically and to bring awareness. Where's Oprah with this? I find it odd that she put a spotlight on Wade Robson and others against Michael Jackson but nothing on this which isn't a new story, unfortunately.
