Ever since my full transition to cloud gaming via xCloud, or Xbox Cloud Gaming, I've been gaming a ton with my Razer Kishi controller. However, I also wanted to look around and see what other options are out there. So, I've decided to get my hands on the new GameSir X2 controller and see how it fares the Razer Kishi. Awesome content. I liked how you clearly stated which controller is better for which use case. There is no PERFECT controller and it actually comes down to your use case. And you were pretty honest and accurate on that part. keep up the good work.

Thanks young won. This definitely came in handy. I will more than likely start off with the kishi since it is cheaper at 40usd used on ebay. But will eventually get the x2 with the USB c port.

Thanks for the video! I have had many of the cloud gaming services for quite some time for pc and my Nvidia shield tv, with the Steam Deck coming soon I realized it would be cheaper and simpler solution to just buy the nicest Controller I could find. Considering getting actual Shadow pc though, but it's pricey. Anyways my Kishi will be here today. I hope it works well for me!

PSA: The rubber inside the kishi can be easily removed and reinstalled allowing you to use it with the phone case attached. This is to support the Razer phone.

@@vesder819 Not a chance, especially if your tablet has thick bezels. The Razer website says it supports up to 6.7" screens, though I use the Kishi with a Oneplus 8 Pro which is 6.8", but that's it.

@@dwschiu okay, thanks. Was hoping to find something around an 7" inch tablet. Have a phone with 6.8 inch, but with the wrong dimensions for gaming. 16:9 and soon 16:10 will be the best for games.

Went with the kishi since bluetooth on a phone tends to create a bit of latency, and it really adds up when you are streaming a game.

Kishi has an issue...after using 1 year+ the left side not working...likely the ribbon cable inside detached...im not fix it yet but im find out on the internet

I really want to buy the Gamesir x2 Bluetooth and have been asking tirelessly if it fits the casetify magsafe ultra case for iphone 13 pro max given that it has four bumpers on each corner, but nobody has answered me, not once in almost a year. Gamesir nor casetify has not answered my countless of emails asking the same exact question. Can anyone please tell me?????

I'd get the GameSir X2 but it's not as portable, and I prefer the Razer Kishi V1 Joysticks over the GameSir X2 Joysticks. Also I'll most likely be playing racing games on my phone, and the GameSir X2 doesn't have Analog Triggers like how the Razer Kishi V1 does.

I bought a v1 kishi and it fits my moto g stylus 5g 2022 model but it wont work with it i need one that will work with my phone but im not wasting anymore money unless i know for a fact it will work with it

My Kishi USB port c for reason is faulty and drops connection constantly specially with the right hand trigger so I am looking for a Bluetooth controller ... But if there is big latency with the game sir then I am in square one again

The latency is really not bad, but are you still under warranty for the Kishi? Maybe try customer support to see if you can get a replacement?

@@hoyoungwon no, I am not under warranty anymore. I bought it a year ago, however, I have not used it that much to get it broken by use. If you had to buy another controller again would you go for gamesir or Kishi taken into account the possibility of getting the port broken again?

@Jorge Salazar That's a shame. Honestly, I think I would go for the GameSir X2. Still prefer the Kishi's controls but the tiny bit of extra convenience in being wireless makes it worth it.

So as I promised, I tried the gamesir and I have to say: Kishi: It gives you better game experience since it is more comfortable to hold but it is very annoying to put on the phone. Also, the durability sucks. It is a very delicate controller. So you can lose your money easily if you don't treat it carefully. Gamesir: Easy to attach, I can't complain about the Bluetooth latency it is unperceptive. Very sturdy controller. The only two cons are it isn't as comfortable as the Kishi and the two LEDs indicators on the front are annoying if you play in a dark room.

If you have to stretch your kishi's strap just to fit your phone, i do not recommend it.

I have both. for me I thnk the Kishi is more comfortable if you are playing any game where you use the analog stick as the main method of movement in a 3D atmosphere whereas the gamesir excels in switch/gameboy like games or ANY fighting games with the super response buttons and close together yet very comfortable d-pad. in fact I have the USB C version and may buy a bluetooth version as well just you use on my PC. The Kish starts to like almost hurt my hand if i continually hold a d-pad direction for a long period, and i drop combos waaaaaaay more on fighting games, but prefer it for most playstation 2 games or if im playing super smash melee/brawl on the dolphin emulator also. You don't have to unlatch your kishi like that bro, just break it apart gently.

The X2 sticks are to sensitive and don't have full range. Impossible to play shooters with them because you aim is to twitchy.

You don't need to take your phone case off with the Kishi. Just remove the rubber seals from the Kishi (the slide out easily) and your phone should fit fine. My S21 ultra fits with the case and its a massive phone. My spygen case acts like the rubber seals and helps hold the phone in place.

My S21 ultra won't fit unless I take off one of the rubber inserts and the case. Even then it's a little wonky and not flat. I went ahead and ordered the X2 type c version and going to see how much I like it and send the other back.

IMO, a 8bitdo clip with the xbox controller works the best for me, cheaper, better ergonomics, better hardware and the screen is closer to your face making it easier to see for most phones that dont have at least an 8 inch display.

Omg telescopic blue tooth controllers predate the switch, reviewers need to stop comparing it to the switch it's so annoying. "IT'S NOT BLUETOOTH THO" No, no it's not. Want a gold star? It's still nothing like a switch controller. The switch controller is vastly less comfortable and more cramped while also have 10x the features and ability. Plus analog drift and dead spots. It's not a quirk or bad design it's a feature

GameSir.... don't have to see this video to know that controller is terrible. Not one GameSir controller is good, to much deadzones in the yoysticks, bad buttons, to much lag. No thanks. I like how GameSir is copying the nintendo switch, although not very kind of them ;).

The USB-C version of the Gamesir X2 is meant to be used with a Switch emulator, hence the design. Even the button layout is the same as on the Switch - that is YX/BA, instead of XY/AB.

I use Mantis Gamepad Pro to map my Kishi and it is pretty good. It's free and doesn't require root, but you'll need to connect your phone to a PC (just once) in order to use Mantis, if you're not rooted.
