Wife grabbed the Kishi for me for my Father's Day gift. It works way better for xCloud and Stadia than any BT controller does. I don't regret it at all

For anyone that's here in 2022, if you remove the rubber inserts on either side of the Kishi (they can be removed and reinstalled easily) then most phones will fit. Even with a case. I'm using an S20+ with an Incipio case and it fits like it was made for the Kishi once I removed the inserts. It may not work for all phones, but having the extra space as opposed to the rubber inserts could be a deciding factor for some folks.

I hate fiddling with Bluetooth and having yet one more thing to charge! Much prefer the Kishi. That said, I'm missing 1) the ability to connect a USB headset to the port (it's used only for charging), and 2) they really need to allow key mapping in their app.

Personally I like the design of the former. But direct connectivity it's kind of paramount. And if they were going to make a case for the phone. The mind has well have just made it also USB type C. And it would have been ultimate. Great video

I took the rubber inserts out of the Kishi and my phone fits perfect in its case. So happy with this buy! BTW I have Galaxy S20 FE.

Haven't gotten one yet but I prefer the design of the junglecat it just looks more professional and compact. They cost more or less the same last time I checked. But since the kishi is universal I'll have to just get that.

I always wanted a controller with my phone so that I wouldn't have to use touch controls whether emulation or streaming or with Android games and I got the kishi as a gift and I love that it fits my note 10+ its compact I like the battery pass-through though itd be nice for some type of external port in the event I wanted to charge and game but I mostly use it with steam link and play the games I have so far cant wait to see what these streaming services have to offer

I bought a Junglecat and loved it. Only downside was the VERY specific case for my Note 9 broke. So I replaced it with the Kishi. The Kishi was simply to big for me to enjoy, my hands would get sore very quickly. Recently bought ANOTHER Junglecat because I missed it.

I've had both a Junglecat and I currently have the Kishi. I ended up returning my Junglecat because the left and right halves of the controller would not remain connected to each other causing input to drop off sporadically.

Does the kishi not have Bluetooth at all? My type c port is kinda finicky and I'd probably drop connection constantly without Bluetooth.

I love using my kishi. Jungle cat looks more premium. But kishi has better connection and better button layout. I love it.

Razer Kishi for me and my Samsung Galaxy S10E. It reminds of the Nintendo Switch. Can't wait to have this bad boy with emulators and Android ports via GTA 3, sa and Bully to many more.

All you had to say was mapping. A Bluetooth device for gaming should always allow mapping the buttons to specific controls.

I have the razer junglecat and playing xcloud and geforce now the Bluetooth controller can be buggy i.e. it keeps going left or down when I am not pushing in that direction. I think the kishi will be better because of the direct connection using usb type c. Just trying to get one as out of stock in the UK...

Gonna be the Junglecat for me. I use a popsocket and can't have the back from the Kishi. Also, the Joy-Con parallels are exactly what I've wanted in a controller.

So let me get this right. So The kishi does not do mapping, right? So I can not play any random games with it? Only the games that's in the compatible app like project x cloud? Junglecat does mapping but i believe mapping is not available on ios14?

for anyone wanting to play games that are NOT natively supported by android, or aren't using the kishi so you have no key mapping; I recently installed Panda gamePad from the play store for all of ,what, 5 bucks. it's a very decent keymapper. makes either options on here very viable

It been nice if it was separate like say the controller with Razer cases or razor controller with the other cases for Samsung etc as type a type b type c etc

BT controller delay is horrendous so I can’t imagine someone would pick the Junglecat over the Kishi. The input response times are just so much faster with the Kishi and it feels much more like an actual console controller.

I prefer the jungle cat over the kishi.....jungle cat is the definition of portability I wish they had different cases for the phones

This does seem pretty cool n useful...but what I am curious to know is whether or not we will get banned for using this in CoD Mobile. Coz the new anti-cheat system did mention no controllers to be used.

What I did was use a hack saw to cut the ends off the case which was closest to the size of my phone and then super glued the ends onto the end of my phone case. Problem solved! Junglecat WAY more portable and practical to use, how are you gonna fit the Kishi in your pocket?

ive just purchased the kishi dont need to get a case for it and no legnencey at all got the razer phone 1 and the kishi just made more sense as i dont think they made a case that the razer 1 could use so there was no choice and im glad i waited.kishi all the way plus had update already

Junglecat also works with Note 8, despite not being advertised so. I have a Note 8 and the case fits just fine, despite it being made for Note 9. Something the reviewer failed to mention and this is a big deal, Kishi is the first ever smartphone controller to have pressure senstivie triggers, which Junglecat, does not.
