Razor DXT Drift Trike gets a TAXI GARAGE 48v Battery UPGRADE!! Plug & Play Installation!!

We finally got our hands on a secondhand Razor DXT Drift Trike-then realized Nick, Ryan, or Charlie had not ridden one before. That's when we decided to go give it a rip on its stock Razor 36v Lead Acid batteries before UPGRADING it with our 48v battery plug-and-play setup. Needless to say, this thing is a blast to rip around with its updated Saucy battery. This battery upgrade is now available (link below) and we look forward to creating other new products and upgrades for this newly acquired send machine in our fleet!

Love your work guys! Take the sleeves of spray some hairspray on the tire and chuck the sleeve back on and it will stay locked on there at about 35psi.

Another cooling mod is to remove the front plastic chain guard piece that wraps in front of the motor. Once removed it allows the air to hit the motor

Built a huffy slider with 48v 1000watt and it rips 30 mph and up no breaks leds for night drifts

Pump up those rear tires and the PVC tube stays on just fine (mine doesn't move at all).

How much faster does it go with 48-54v? I have the battery already and switching in 55t sprocket to see if it works even better

Another fun build would be an electric scooter with an upgraded motor and bigger controller and 48volt battery and just make it crazy

I live here in fl. I’m in lake county. I have around 3 tri zingers. Old school trikes. I want to do an electric version. What kit ya have for me I’ll even donate a full frame etc for you guys to make one too

The install is beyond easy. Our DXT 48V battery box fits directly into the battery tray on the rear of the cart. Simply unplug the battery from the controller, connect our sub-harness provided to the controller from our battery, and re-use the factory two wing-nuts and tie-down bar to strap it back down. Then #SENDIT

You are looking at around 2 hours of ride time with periodic cold down breaks for the motor. The trike with a 180lb rider does about 22 mph in a straight line.

The air pressure was probably low on the wheel that's what holds it on.

I could see when hitting it with the shoe the whole tire was shaking. Tire was flat.
