Back in the day, we had Big Wheels made out of plastic with a lever brake to make you skid... this is a nice upgrade!

Got one off Craigslist for $40. I replaced the handlebars with some from a mini bmx But I cut 2 inches off each arm so less wide. Also using rocker3 bmx front wheels on the back axles as they work with 12mm. I just use it to cruise around on and go off road downhill. Good and fun transportation.

I have both a razor pocket mod scooter and huffy green machine and can ride them both at my age(47) without problems. The max weight limit for the pocket mod is 170 pounds and the green machine 180 pounds. Granted I've only driven my pocket mod scooter once so far because I wiped out in a low speed crash on my first ride a little over two weeks ago....I wish it had a variable speed throttle because the acceleration on it is a bit too fast for my liking.

razor, what model was it back around 2000-2006 that was all black and battery powered? It was a drift trike and you pedaled a bit and off it went. I'd like to find one and make a high powered mod.

I saw something on the big wheel rally website about razor making a drift trike years before the DXT model shown in this video came out that was called scream machine and debuted in 2002 but has since been discontinued. Now only the DXT and electric DXT drift trikes are the only models that razor currently offers.

I am 64 and have balance issues so this may be ideal . I am 5 11 and weigh 270 but would get it to lose weight and exercise . Comments on if this would be ideal would be appreciated . ty bob P.S. I just saw max weight is 198 .. .:-) I'm looking for something my gf and I can put in the back of our KIA soul and go riding at different locations . I would order one for myself but I don't think my mom would approve after I spent 400 bucks on a razor pocket mod scooter and 160 bucks on a huffy green machine within the last couple of weeks especially since amazon wants around 200 bucks for the DXT trike....sure I'm 47 but I'm on disability benefits and she has some control over my account and would probably suspend it if I dared to buy it.

+madazztrikes I don't agree. I think a lot of 10 to 30+ year olds will buy this trike. Easy to start with and maybe mod them later. I myself live in Holland and have a Crazy Cart. I am past my 30's but I love drifting so much I really wanted a CC and I still enjoy the ride next to my real life big size drift car ;) Cool beat Razor and nice looking trike. I wish we would get a Crazy Cart XL in Holland ;)

+Lycan Strife I see it time and time again modifying a trike like this is costly and you still end up with a compromise. If this gets more people into Drift Trikes though then that is good. If I had a bigger budget I would love to produce a cheaper trike that would run rings around any cheap trike that's on the market right now. (Triad Huffy etc)

Just curious what the best way is to preserve the wheels on this thing? I've heard they are the weakest link. Is there an easy way to replace the wheels with real rubber trike wheels/rims?

@Mike Snyder You can buy quality drift trike wheels for high end models like Triad or you can create custom sleeves using PVC pipe. I'm already looking into ordering a set of replacement rear wheels for mine and I've only ridden it twice so far.

I also wanted to know when you are going down a hill or street where do put you feet when you are not peddling, because wouldn't the pedals be moving very fast?

+Aj Cowan You can place your feet on the ground. Also, if you're trying to come to a stop, you can use your feet to come to a gradual stop.

Definitely. I know I'm late, but yes, it's ajustable for most heights. The biggest person I've heard of riding this was 6'3 and they were fine.

@@Letsroll000 I got this and I had to return it. I don’t fully remember but I think when I would go to then the wheel my legs may have not been long enough and fully would then rub on the tire that was protruding during the turn. Hard to explain. Like if I was turning left then the tire sticks out to the right and my right leg would be fully extended during the left turn and just rub on that tire. ( hope u can picture this) I’m 5’3 so that made it pretty unenjoyable to ride considering my legs would get rubber burn during turns haha.

Amazon sells them. I just got a huffy green machine myself last week....unfortunately I'm probably gonna need to invest in replacement wheels for it eventually but would prefer to have pre made PVC coated wheels that would last longer but where can you get them? KZfaq has plenty of videos on how to make custom rear wheels for trikes but it's expensive and time consuming and simply replacing the plastic wheels with rubber wheels takes away the ability to drift.
