so far everybody says it's got a good frame but a real suck ass battery and the controller is governed way down to give shitty throughput to the motor, probably to keep the suck ass battery from exploding.

nah, it's got a 90 day warranty, so you have at least 90 days. after that the battery will take a huge shit and it will ONLY cost about $300 to replace it.

Get him a gas powered mini bike he can ride all day. Parts are easy to get and cheap online no worries about battery life. My 8 year old daughter loves hers she’s hooked

@@micahstritikus603 a hub motor is a motor that's in the wheel on bikes. They are typically cheaper than motors that are separate from the wheel but are worse at climbing hills because they can't quite change gears or anything.

@@michaeltenorio7342 dude Pedals PEDALS You are mad cause i think if you are going to make a ebike that goes 15mph and only last for 45min that it should have pedals Think about how little 45 minutes is buddy 22 minutes to a place and 23 minutes back...you can only ride the bike short distances without needing to charge it making it literally just a toy...which sure that's what it is...but let's say you buy this for your kid Your kid already has a normal bike and now this He wants to go riding bikes with his friends He grabs this His battery dies and now he is left walking a bike home that IF IT HAD PEDALS he wouldn't have to He never rides this ebike with his friends again Or ok how about the adults buying this for modding...now it sucks cause legally if you upgrade it without pedals its gonna be considered a moped and that's a no no.

Actually the only requirement is a drivers license few states require registration. And even then unless your caught breaking the law they’re not gonna pull you over to see if you have a license
