You need to reduce drag. The antenna could be incorporated into the vertical stabilizers, making one less drag surface. Also, the body mounts and clips could be inverted so the towers and clips are upside down and behind the wheels, making four fewer drag surfaces. Finally, airplanes have cowls on their wheels for a reason. Extend the skirt of the body to encompass the rear wheels and taper it towards the rear (you could, with sufficient planning, cowl the steering wheels, but probably won't). Those changes will give you a total of seven drag reductions. Best of luck!

Absolutely. Every little thing. Painting B-17’s in World War II made them faster because it filled in gaps at the rivets & seams. They just didn’t paint them so they could get them off the production line faster, which is what really mattered at the time.

Raz Have you thought about bringing 2 ladders and a board to stand up high that way you can get a longer run and see the car better? I see all the guys going for the record either standing on a ladder or the bed of a big truck to get a height advantage so they can get a longer run-up. When we race the driver's stands are up real high so we can see the corners of the track. You should try it. Might be that extra edge you need to break 200+ mph.

I have a little question. Why not build yourself a little stand, that you could be like 1m up, or more, when driving. You've have slightly better view on the car, and us viewers would also see a bit better as the car is approaching. Theres a reason races are also usually from a drivers stand, as it helps with seeing the car. Obviously I've never ran a speed-run, but just a thought. :) Anyway, love the videos as always.

I'm not a RC guy at all, but enjoyed the video. Just looking from a lay persons POV, the shell of the car looks like the weak point. The thin clear plastic shell at 200mph must be flexing all over the place. Added to the that, is there really a need for the "cockpit" atheistic to be on the outer shell? That must be 5 mph in drag alone. I would have thought a low as possible, carbon body, flat all the way, would yield the best results. I look forward to your next videos!

You have access to lathe. Have you considered cutting aluminum wheels AND tires. Land speed record holder Bloodhound SSC lathe cut aluminum wheels and tires as one piece to eliminate high speed tire failures due to the insane amount of inertial load on rubber tires You would have to cut some knurls or some pattern to give them grip. That might be the final key to the world record. I think you could use a very narrow wheel because you are relying on a large contact patch for grip. I also suggest using parachutes to slow the car down. You could have it release when you initiate the brakes. That would give you more runway to get up to s peed and possibly a gear that is a step faster on the high end of your runs. I also suggest installing a vertical stabilizer run on the midline of the car from a bout halfway back from the front of the car to the back of the car. I think your wing needs to be the shape of inverted airfoil or airplane wing. That as a smoother wake than a angle flat wing. I also think the vertical end plates are way to large and are causing a lot more drag than you think. I Lastly, i think you need to put some plastic or carbon fiber runners on the underfloor from a line from behind the front tires connecting them to the corresponding diffuser runners.i think you should also install runner on the outer edge of the floor between the front qnd rear wheels to keep as much air possible flowing under the floor. The more air that exits from=m the rear diffuser, the higher the downforce on the car. The mor e air that squeezes under the car, the less air that is owing off the sides f the car causing a loft more turbulence in the car’s wak. I would also measure wind speed and direction before each pass so you don’t make any passes into the wind.

Ditch the body, and go with a tear drop style, probably gotta make something custom. Ditch the rear wing, at that speed you don't read it. Possibly go with skinnier tires up front. Maybe the AWD is more a hinderance, go with 2wd.

What an adrenaline rush buddy. I thought I was cool with my Nitro Schumacher lol that goes almost 100. And that's fast lol. This was awesome bud, idk much about electric cars. But this was awesome

That windshield shape on the body needs to go. I realize it’s the same body that’s gone 204, but for all out speed, the aerodynamics on the windshield probably slows the car down by a good 10mph. You spend all this time building, why not put a bit more time in the aero?

Instead of driving it to starting point, try carrying it by yourself to starting point to save every tiny bit of battery No idea that it will help or not but it doesn’t cost anything to try it😄
