Im Alter von nur 59 Jahren verlor die Modell Szene ein Urgestein des Hubschraubersports. Heinz Hoffmann * 15.09.1954 ist am 06.06.2014 verstorben.
Wir trauern um einen Freund und Fliegerkollegen der mit seiner Ruhe und seinem Sachverstand vielen Jungpiloten ein Vorbild war und mit diesem Film auch immer bleiben wird.
Dieses Video war das erste das ich gedreht habe und ist der Grund weshalb der Modellsport, das Fliegen zu meinem Hobby wurde. Vielen Dank lieber Heinz. Wir vermissen Dich sehr !
Ruhe in Frieden.
Unsere Gedanken sind bei seiner Familie.

That is one very nice CH-53, it looks authentic in many ways, the pilot makes everything look easy. What a show! Thanks for sharing.

Hallo, Danke für dieses Video! Es hat mich sehr berührt den Kommentar zu lesen. Da ich dies gegenüber vielen hier, IMMER mache bevor ich das Video ansehe, sehe ich es mit ganz anderen Augen. So ein toller Helikopter, eindrucksvoll vorgeflogen ( und ein TOP Kameramann ) mit dem zufriedenen lächeln des Piloten Heinz Hoffmann, das ist schon sehr eindrucksvoll, da man ja nun weis das dieser nette Mensch nicht mehr lebt !!! Meine Kondolenz für all seine hinterbliebenen. RIP Heinz Hoffmann Danke nochmals für dieses schöne Video! Frank Mende

I fly RC Helicopters and planes etc. I have a Eurocopter 350 with 4 blades. That was a bitch to track. You track 6 blades.....very impressive model. Nice flying as well. More people should get into this hobby...it really is rewarding.....and expensive.

It might be more stable in flight, but I prefer to hear the slapping from just 2 rotor blades, especially for scale. I suspect the extra blades were keeping with the full scale version though, so I see why.

sometimes with these RC videos, you have to put it at 50% speed, to make it look like the real thing, less oscillations/vibrations that way

Very cool ' ya know back when my dad was still alive a friend of his had a 2 or 3 seat plain ' witch he let me fly for a short time & ask'ed if i wanted to land her . I thought that would be cool ' but I don't feel like diein just yet ! Some how flyin an R C helicoptrer ' to me is easer than flyin an R C plain
