in this video we cover the basics of entering and exiting inverted positions. It is very important that before learning this lesson that you are ready and fluid in right side up flying.

I don't know what it is about your teaching style, but you explain things sooooo well and it just clicks with me. I've watched other vids of this transition and none teach it as you do. Amazing vids, man. Truly.

The learning inverted flight is without doubt the most useful and practical on this subject that I have seen! No unnecessary stuff, no waffle or ego, just to-the-point informative and real world guidance on making the step into 3d. I'd been flying over a year and despite limited instruction and watching other vids on the subject, had never managed to summon the courage to attempt inverted flight previously, at least not in a comitted and serious way. Until I saw this vid! Now I'm on it!

Freddy, To me you are an incredibly awesome, generous, considerate and exceptional individual. The knowledge, experience and information you share with others on KZfaq concerning RC Helis is the best bar none!!!Thanks for all the time, effort and attention to details. Thanks for sharing and revealing information that allows and permits others to become and perform great in the hobby and sport of flying, maneuvering and manipulating RC Helis in the air.

This video has just filed in the missing gaps "stall" every other video which goes over inverted and flips completly misses this point, and explains why ive been struggling in the sim to get really neat flips and rols, and ending up in wierd positions with my micro heli with lots of bogging down the motor. great stuff¬!

Explained very well,I've managed to keep control in hover and simple turns so now it's time to go 3D.👍

HI Freddy ! I use to fly Planes line control yrs. ago & design my own & Build them for my-self but still can fly them but getting a 68cm Gyro for Xmas never had much luck with Radio controlled but u seem to make it sound easy for me & I like the way u explain it & I feel comfortable with u with this but will be following u with ur teaching methods I think u might just get me flying RC as I really enjoyed it when I was young as I'm near 65yrs. old now but still love this sport & hope with ur instructions I will master it TYVM for ur Video's & teaching skills as to me u can really fly that copter mate & there is a lot of other tips & Tricks I would love to learn as in setting up & Trouble Shooting + making the copter better as in what motors & parts r better than these ones to make it better to control & fly & make it faster, Fly longer & all that will be very interesting Freddy & loved ur Video's tops mate !

Great video's I used what I learned in this one on my MCPX out in a field. Worked perfect...although I go Right->Left and flip backwards rather htan forwards..although exiting from upside down I seem to like to flip forward to get back upright.

Thanks 4 these tutorials, helps a lot! New to this hobby, it's awesome but difficult, a challenge! It doesn't really help that i started out with a mCPX BL :)

Freddy, your tutorials are great, like your microbeast setup video too. like your teaching skills, they helps alot. i practice heli flying alot with my phoenix simulator and build up a 450 trex with microbeast. do you have a tip for maiden flight. I'm a bit scared about because I crash all too often during simulator practicing sessions ( flips in all directions, funnels, forward and backwards flying upright & inverted, half piros etc.). when would you start to practice the basics in real out on the field ?

what level is recommended for the DR and expo and gyro for starting to do this? I've got a blade 230s with dual rate at 84% and expo 20%, and the gyro normal at 88% and stunt gyro at 69%. Any recommendations appreciated...

I've been playing with inverted on my 230 s v2, but I usually just flip directly into it. Is there a reason you teach this neutral collective teqnique?
@33forsaken4 жыл бұрын
Yes there is a reason, when you get into larger helis that have lots of power and rpm it is very easy to damage the Heli or even crash due to collective overload. Basically on a larger scale or more aggressive flying scenario, you cannot just bang your sticks around and expect to fly very long. Using the Neutral zero load technique is basically a must in 3d flying. Think of it like an engine, if you went full throttle and never let off the motor cannot breath and will not perform to its best. Same with the main rotor of the Heli, if you just load it up and never let it breath your flight and model will suffer greatly. I hope this makes sense, I did not want to write a whole novel on it haha
@ascherlafayette85724 жыл бұрын
@@33forsaken ok, but is it okay if I blur that transition? Just move the collective smoothly throughout the flip?

slightly helpful, too bad my flight sim is unrealistic and doesn't zoom automatically... guess i'll practice my real heli for a few weeks first.
