At the TORCHS Winter Bash this past weekend, we held three "Cone Clinics" at the center stage flying area. Rather than doing orchestrated flying demonstrations, we chose to have improvised seminars highlighting various aspects of Radio Controlled Helicopter flying. These aspects include flybarless system tuning (Gain tuning, flip rate, etc), Nitro Engine Tuning, and Autorotations.
This 15 minute clinic was held by Kyle Dahl, a multi time world champion pilot- representing Mikado. In this video, Kyle shows some ways to tune your head gains, tail gain, flip rate, and other little tips & tricks. Here he is using a Mikado VBar Control radio along with a VBar Neo flight controller.
