nave bellissima, e realizzazione sorprendente. I paesi bassi avevano grandi navigatori e flotte superbe soprattutto nel periodo al quale appartiene questa nave complimenti beautiful ship, and surprising realization. The Nederland were great navigators and fleet superb especially in the period to which belongs this ship compliments

A Studing, painter in oil, modeller builder of Spanish and turkish ships from 1500 to 1650, got to tell you you're an enemy( hahahaa....kidding) but your vessel flies the water....Congratulations!!! Oh, I understand you perfectly. I'm just saying that for her to be functional at that scale, she can't operate without it. I'm not a scale modeller myself, but I sculpt many things, often as close to scalable measurements as possible. However, this model isn't, like scale models, meant to be put on a shelf. It's meant to be functional, to be able to sail, so there is no option other than to give it the keel and ballast.

De Prins Willem is geheel vanaf tekening gebouwd door mijn vriend Willem Moonen uit den Haag. Alle onderdelen zijn door hem zelf gemaak, en samengebouwd tot een historisch kloppend geheel!!! Om radiografisch te kunnen zeilen zijn er om praktische redenen wel noodzakelijke aanpassingen aan de tuigage toegepast.

Great job on the model. Is it a plastic hull or wood? I don't know how good wood would hold up in water for a model. Was this a kit or scratch built?

You start with a simple kit, then go from there. There is no special skill required just a lot of patience maybe some experience working with wood but you learn by doing. I´m doing the spanish galleon San Mateo as my first, very recommendable. It doesn´t exist anymore but there are similar models like the mayflower or columbus ships.

De yards worden met 1 zeilwinch aangestuurd! Bij 3 of meer masten zijn meerdere zeilwinches noodidg om alle zeilmanouvres uit te kunnen voeren.

It sails very well, and fast too . Well done ! I have a scale model barque . But mine does not sail as well as yours . I noticed yours will tack , mine won't . The only way I can go about on the opposite tack, is to wear ship .

Très sympa de le voir sur l'eau mais les réglages possibles sont apparemment très limités. - pas d'allures portantes possibles, juste tirer des bords - pas de réglage du phare de misaine et des civadière et contre-civadière indépendamment des autres phares. - pas de réglage de la voile d'artimon Ce qui explique peut-être pourquoi il a besoin d'un safran aussi énorme.

ich baue die hms beagle mit rc. 1,2 m (lüa1,75) mit 4 rollen für 34 beweglichen leinen. ich hoffe sie diesen sommer segeln können.

Очень красивый корабль, хотелось бы сделать что-то подобное. На моем корабле я сделал поворотные мачты, пришлось реи туго закрепить, при этом на мачтах поворачиваются и марсы, что не очень красиво.
