They are both very good looking rigs and yes the gelande is big but by it's self looks fine, and the linked suspension gets you more performance. Thanks for sharing.

Nice comparison. I am an RC4WD fan. The maintenance is just part of the gig with these things and I dont mind. Just ordered my TF2 4Runner. Should be here this week. Love my Gelande II Land Rover and my TF2 Blazer. Happy to add a 3rd. Thanks for the video.

Thank you for this, i really appreciate it. Sorry you were having issues with the tf2. This was really helpful i love the idea of the gelande but i think the tf2 just edges it for me especially for the scale and how it looks and drives. Seems Perfect for what i need. Thank you once again.

An unfortunate turn of events😂 but luckily it’s just RC fun. I’ve made it a point to get Crawlers from just about every manufacturer but I do not have any from RC4WD I’ve almost purchased the Mojave 2 I think it called it’s a Cab only RTR with a standard chassis. But I love the look of the Toyota’s yours looks just like a real life truck those & the Blazers they have all look great but most seem to lack performance compared to other brands so I guess you have to love really love RC4WD & except it’s weaknesses but appreciate it’s scale appearance. Hopefully you get the Toyota back out for a run. It reminds me of when I first got my Karisma Coyote 2.1 within 30 min. Of running it first timeout I lost the rear drive the pin fell out & the parts where no where to be found there’s a little spring that covers the pin to hold it in but apparently they had issues with the pins falling out. It sat for a month waiting for parts. 🤨 I didn’t see the Marksmen on your shelf but if I remember you did have one. 👍

RC4WD puts scale looks first over performance because there are basically 3 camps; Trailers, Scalers and Compers. If you care a lot more about performance than looks, don't buy RC4WD or anything else with leaf springs or a hardbody. I have the RC4WD 4 Runner and I love that body set. I wish the Chevy body sets had opening doors as well. I think the FMS FJ40 is a better option than the Gelande2 if you like that body because it's fully licensed and I think it looks just as good if not better...... also, it's $150 cheaper. It's not an issue for me but the FMS is a lot bigger than the Gelande so it will probably dwarf a lot of other 1/10 crawlers. 🤓
