In this video I will be showing you how to get your OEM Reverse Camera Backup Camera working with RCD 330 as best as I can. Make sure to buy a Connects2 Adaptor as the Chinese ones are terrible quality and sometimes even fake.

Yes bro. Is this an adapter for the rgb 26 pin connector? My tiguan has rns 510 that can't be updated and has rgb 26 pin connector for reverse camera and I think you have answered my prayers with this video bro please let me know 🙏

Yeah connects2 much better try find out of stock listing get part number and ring them up with that part number they might be able to source it for you

@@MrWaheedulHaque Okay, but you mentioned at the end of your video that you would be using the Chinese adaptor again and wiring it up through the car, will that work if you wire it up not the lazy way with the Chinese adaptor?

@@mitchellhaid7779 lazy way with chinese adaptor works, but i found out of 6 i got only 1 actually worked, and cos of the lazy wiring it broke the adaptor system or burnt it out, i put connects2 one in after that it been running fine ever since but i did do the wiring properly for that one

Yes worked like i said but the box kept burning out so if u doing it buy thr connects2 one not chinese

Is your rear camera original or after market? I mean why did you need to work in the back of the car?

@@MrWaheedulHaque Then why did you open the trunk trim? Shoudn't it work just fine with the decoder, the RCD330 unit and the AV camera adapter? Also, It's almost a year since you installed the OEM. How is the experience overall? Is it worth it? And have you faced any issues with the system? Thanks brother!

@@afsalmutawa i did it the easy way the first time without wiring to back and it broke within few days, the only proper way to do it is to run a wire from the front of car stereo to the reverse light so that the box is only active when the car is in reverse. This way it stops it always running 24/7 which this isnt made to do. If you do it the easy way where you wire the power and video cable together it will work fine but for how long probably not very long maybe few days as it wasn't designed to have constant power to the video line. I hope you understand what im saying. Since doing it properly never had issue again, and make sure to buy a connects2 one as the chinese ones half of them were fake, and others were faulty, my best luck was with the british brand connects2

@@MrWaheedulHaque I see. That's strange. What is the function of the decoder then? Does it not only show the feed form the camera when you put it in reverse? And where exactly do you connect the wires that come out of the decoder? Thanks for replying, really appreciate it!

@@afsalmutawa decoder converts the signal from low line old camera tech to new line new camera tech which the rcd 330 uses. Thats the only purpose of the decoder but without it wont work as camera uses a different type of camera signal, and for the wiring everything is in depth on the video brother, just watch the video everything is there even a wiring diagram which i go in detail on
