Just a word of advice for anyone interested in the TT20cxa. I own a bunch of them and they are great boxes but they do not have the ability to switch the program presets without connecting rdnet, BUT I simply connected them to rdnet. Loaded C1 (Close mode full range) which has an attenuated high shelf on the horn and full range on the bottom. This sounds soooo much better for music playback and for full range wedge duty. I simply load that into the box and then disconnected rdnet which retains that setting with the rdnet button engaged. Or you can disengage the rdnet button and use the factory setting which I believe is Monitor mode from the factory. Also a note. The high pass filter button works backwards on these boxes! Give it a shot , good trick and makes them more usable for other duties besides vocal wedges. Nick K

Did you compare the new TT22 mk2 with the old one? Any big difference?
@tony82362 ай бұрын
hi I need your help on rcf as you know the differences better. I would like to buy some monitors and I saw the new nx915 sma series. but then I noticed nx915a which has a significant price difference but looks like the same component. perhaps the 915a is also suitable for stand use. what is the difference between the two models? thank you very much

Thanks for the video. Just came from your Art 9 series comparison. How does the newer Art 9 series compare to these as monitors?

The 910 blows away the 710, but the TT22 and TT25 still win. The HD32 now has a huge competitor with the 932.

@@sweettreeproductions2149 are the HD 32-A MKIV and 932 nearly equal? Where might each box have strengths over the other?

All sound great, but TT25-CXA seems to be the clear winner for me. Plenty of bottom end, punchy and super clear mids and highs. I'm sure it's a different experience in person though. The ART710 sound really really excellent and are priced less than all the other speakers there. Their sound is very punchy. I suppose the main thing against the 710's as monitors is probably the fact the angle of the cab isn't ideal in terms of pointing it up to people and they don't sit on the ground in the most stable way. They do the job well in reality though and I've used them for that purpose a few times. I think the HD32 has the most high end, proportionally, but not sure.

In this test something strange happened, all the speakers that had a bag emit a bass boost and the only speaker that didn't include it was the Rcf tt20. Regardless of your speakers and wooden cabinet that give differences in sound, does this happen because of Rcf tt20 be the only one to have 8' inch speakers!?. It's strange that it has a 3-inch compression drive and was directly on the ground without a bag, it should have a different boost, right?

We have always heard some weird anomalies with 8” woofers in the RCF brand. Not saying they are bad they are just different.

So, what's your order of preference based off sound alone? :D

What mic was used to record the sound? Or it was just the phone mic?

32lbs vs 18lbs vs 30lbs vs 51 lbs vs 42 lbs. According to Google. So, is the TT25 actually lighter than the TT20 ?
