Love it! I am not an r/c fan, I accidentally clicked on this. But, the attention to detail, the nose tilt, the working landing gear!!! I can’t imagine the time it took to build this! Forget the cost, the time and engineering it took to create, worth it. This is awesome. Even has the wing curvature! Beautiful aircraft, beautiful flight!!

Crowtein i could with paper but it wouldn’t help to explain since i can’t put a picture as a comment. But i can try to explain it with only words: the bottom part of the nose is not aligned with the rest of the fuselage. It doesn’t make a straight ligne. And on this model it does which is wrong. There is a small corner between the front of the windshield and the nose and the back of the windshield and the fuselage behind it which isn’t on this model which is wrong and the windshield is a lot to high and same for the small cockpit windows behind the windshield, those are a lot to high. And the Air France writing is not the same.

Great 'Comments' here for a unique RC aircraft. I was stunned to watch how magnificently it jetted about doing a couple rolls and just the whole visceral feel while seated here in Arizona's desert watching an extraordinary feat. That landing was a real breath holding moment and thank goodness only one of the nose wheels failed. BRAVO!

I was curious to know what the fault was, as the wheel was intact during the landing roll out, and wasn't disjointed until taxiing. Then when he was walking it back, the wheel was back upright! Strange, no?

I was asked to fly my friends large scale RC plane, and you quickly figure out it is really a very stressful thing. It is difficult to judge the distances with the large planes and they tend to be very aerodynamically efficient and "don't want to land" as they glide very well. I like a plane that I can afford to stuff in the ground without tears.

I grew up living underneath the approach vectors for both the North and South runways of Heathrow Airport ... in fact, at night, with a cloudless sky, you could some times see them circle, at a distance, as Local ATC had them 'stacked', and 'staggered'. I think they only used the North runway, at night, for the remaining arrivals, to cut down the noise pollution, especially for those living on the airport's 'door step', as they would fly over houses at 300ft. However, photos taken that close to Heathrow are deceiving, as they make it look like they were coming in, hot, at barely house chimney level, let alone tree top level ... But I digress ... You always knew that a Concord/e of either BA, or AF, was coming into land, as no other aircraft at the time, nor since, had that same distinct noise, with both gears, and flaps, down ... Once you hear it, you'll always recognise it ... Although looking at photos of the cabin, it wasn't exactly spacious, inside, that it could go trans-Atlantic at, iirc, Mach 2, at 50,000ft, meant the travel time to reach the East Coast of America would be easily half, minimum, as compared to that of the subsonic airliners of the same period, including the 747. And as for the return trip, thanks to the jet streams flowing in the easterly direction, that meant it would have been even faster ... Hence, to me, she was, and remains, the Queen of the Sky ... [Edit: Since I don't have encyclopedic knowledge of her, does anyone know if she was used from LHR to/from C/YYZ ...?]

Too bad it can't break the sound barrier that would be awesome

Little bit yet, turbine exhaust speed is supersonic, so... if airframe can handle sonic barrier break?

It probably goes faster than concord in terms of scale.

Perhaps an onboard sound system with an mp3 track of sonic booms would be a nice addition.

@@keithscott1957 I totally agree. You really need to add the speakers and play sonic booms. Then have 1/3 scale FAA representatives meet it on the ramp when it lands!

The plane also has a message on it, that it's a work in progress. Most people wouldn't get nearly this far -- it's close to a perfect model Concorde, as is.

@@mvpfocus Right. WORK IN PROGRESS is right. Did the F-22 and F-35 roll off the assembly lines perfect on the first try from drawing board to the Air Force, Navy and Marines? Perfection is a process, not an instantaneous event.
