RD2000 Mainstage, Sunday Keys, Omnisphere 2, Keyscape

Check out this video of my Mainstage Rig. I am using Sunday Keys Mainstage Template from Sunday Sounds to run Omnisphere 2, and Keyscape layered. I also often used internal RD2000 sounds, which is great thing to be able to mix them, and have the RD2000 as a backup, in case of mainstage failure. Nice video showing RD 2000 compatibility with external DAWs. Do you mind sharing your MacBook Pro’s specs? Because Mainstage or Keyscape crash a lot when using my 13” MacBook - mid 2012, 8gb ram, i7, HDD Drive:750gb. Thanks in advance for your answer

Bro how were you able to use your board as a controller. I tried with my fantom x8 do i need a D.A.W for it? I use omnisphere on my graphite. But couldnt get it on my fantom and i got the usb to midi

Great work on that, congrats. Just 1 question : is there an option to select a zone and muting all the others with 1 button? I prefer that other than using the faders to mute each zone separately and then turn up the volume on the desired zone.

Hey man that’s sounds great! I use ableton live, omisphere2 and keyscape. Using rd2000. are you using effects pedal with your setup or effects with omnisphere and keyscape. I would love to layer these sounds in my worship sets. Can you list your patches in omisphere for me? Lots of pads I hear. You are very talented my friend

In this video I am using some effects from MainStage, but no external effects. Also I am using a pad collection called Polar Ice 2 from Rocky Mountain Sounds, which are designed by Jason Ray Schoepfer, a friend that I often demo sound collections for! Also, a couple of omnisphere patches that I love to use is JP Shimmer Evo pad or something like that! Also I like to mix in JP Shimmer Pulse Evopad, Great Polysynth and a couple pads from Rocky Mountain Sounds.

@@Lesseamster Hello! Can you say please you opinion about sound rd-2000 and keyscape. I have fp-50 and i think buy rd-2000,buy keyscape have so many sounds and if you have keyscape do you really need rd-2000 sound's thanks!

You said you perform live with keyscape and RD 2000. I always wondered if it's possible. I love keyscape pianos. I love the RD keys. Can you please tell me your setup. I want to do solo piano with backing tracks. Will I need audio interface? Thanks.

So for my live performance I use Keyscape (you can use it in standalone mode now but I have mainstage so I can layer with omnisphere) Then I run RD2000 with usb cable to the Mac, which selects the RD2000 as the audio interface (this is the best feature of the RD) then you have two options, to run the RD into 2 XLR cables to the board or you can use the 1/4 main outs into a couple of direct boxes. The other wag of doing things is I have a Scarlett 6i6 from focusrite and I route output 1/2 for mainstage, So the Mac connects to rd2000 via usb and to the interface via another sub cable. For live performances, it’s great to use the RD as an interface because you route both internal and external sound through the main outputs, so less gear needed

Sir, do you know whether RD 700 NX can also be used as audio interface? Just now I connect my RD700NX to my FL Studio via USB. I can find my RD listed as midi input, but in the audio selection for output, I can only see the installed ASIO drivers beside the primary loudspeaker; I can't find RD nowhere in the list. Any idea?

+Paul Sentosa unfortunately the RD700 doesn’t have a built in audio interface like the RD2000 :/

Hello, I bought my RD-2000 because the sound I heard on the demos on you tube but after getting mine I couldn't achieve the clear sound I heard. My RD-2000 sound muffle and I'm wondering if yours sound better with your sound engine. The piano sound I'm hearing it's from the software or from the RD-2000. I will appreciate your feedback. I really like your patches, Great job!

How are you listening to the RD2000? If with headphones, Ive read that the headphone amp sucks in it. If you use an audio interface or external headphone amp, it will sound better.

How does Keyscape piano sounds compare to the actual RD2000 piano sounds. Do you think i could use keyscape live without needing my RD2000.?

The keyscape piano is absolutely incredible compared to the roland piano sounds. I honestly bought the RD to be a fancy midi controller because the ominsphere+ keyscape setup I have is amazing to me
