Well, Milan's old defense line was as good as this, maybe even better... Not only the starting 4 (Tassotti, Costacturta, Baresi, Maldini) were phenomenal. The substitutes were also great: Galli and Panucci deputised in 94 UCL Final and played great football against the Dream Team

Barca may have got back into this tie and ultimately robbed with the controversial Terry deciding goal but they had no excuses for such a bad start to this 2nd leg to do exactly what they did 5 years earlier at Stamford bridge and go 3-0 down on the night early on. They only just managed the unlikely comeback in 1999/00 but you can't keep giving yourself mountain's to climb.

I remember this match, there were great players back then. I especially liked long-range strikes the most. Ronaldinho scored a beautiful goal, I still remember that goal.

I was born in 1995 and started cheering for Chelsea in 2007 And of course in 2005 I didn't watch this Chelsea match Then I just learned that the referee for this match is Pierluigi Collina He's a legend and I love his honesty. With respect from Thailand 🇹🇭

Great game, but how on Earth did Collina fail to blow the whistle for Chelsea’s fourth? It was a clear foul on Valdes, from my point of view. I guess the tables turned some years later, when Barca progressed with that goal from Iniesta.
