I'd take Ja #1 because when you compare the grizzlies with vs without ja the difference for the grizzlies is higher than pelicans with and without zion. And in Zions only healthy season he's playing so mediocre

Ja is number one. He has played almost twice as many games as zion and has several accolades due to his play. Zion just hasn't played enough to come close. If he could stay on the court maybe that changes but if the redraft was today ja is #1 no question.

Grizzlies hit the jumbo lottery getting the 2nd overall pick, they shouldn’t have gotten into the Top 5 and ended up getting 2, if they got 1 they would’ve gotten Zion (the Grizzlies front office would be crucified if they didn’t) and if they got 3 they would’ve probably drafted Darius

This is a big board, not a redraft, so I did not really take into consideration how they fit on the teams which takes into how good they are now and how good I believe the can be. I don’t see the argument for Zion over Ja. @@supersammich344⁠ Coby started the season bad but last 32 games he’s averaging 22.1ppg 5.5reb 5.3ast 3.3threes 48.4/43/82.9 shooting splits 62% true shooting which is elite for a guard and while they lost the first 5 games of that stretch the Bulls are 16-11 after that with him as the best player. So Coby is playing at the same level Garland has shown in the past but he is also bigger and not as much of a target on defense. I am a Bulls fan so maybe I’m biased but I view both of them as borderline All-Stars going forward I just prefer Coby

@@bkelly625 Well, if we are going to compare their respective best stretches against each other: Garland last 33 games of the 2021-22 season: 24.5 PTS, 3.4 RBS, 9.8 AST, and 1.3 STL on 46.0/39.7/88.2 splits, for a true shooting percentage of 56.9%, all the while being consistently double or even triple teamed. I'm sorry, but at their peaks, I still don't think it's particularly close.

@@supersammich344 I understand but stats aren’t everything and progression isn’t linear… They are right now about the same level of player but Garland is smaller and not anywhere close to as strong which I think can be problematical in the playoffs. Who knows though both are about 24 and don’t project to be superstars but borderline All-Stars

@@Gglifestyle73no it’s way better imo. Ja is a top 20 player at worst in the NBA. I’d have to list names but I think zion is around the 35-40 range. Ja is a much better scorer, passer, playmaker, and way better offensive player in general. Zion is a good player but I don’t think he’s close to Ja.
