Today on the Project List, we take a few minutes to test ways to re seat a tire on a bead. The baler tire has gone flat and is completely off the rim, what will it take to get the tire back on the rim?

That tire soap is great for cleaning your tires. Makes them look brand new. Without the issues you get with tire care products. Also works great for getting grease out of your clothes. Just put some on the grease spots and wash in your machine. God bless

Hi again! Great slow mo MIke. Handy to have a Gary! How I hope you don't get much out of the storm! Today I heard some areas are to get up to 30 inches!!!! With calving you just don't need any!!! When using a combustible to seat tire beads, my experience has been that oxy/acetylene is generally safer than ether due to the simple fact of no residual flames -- it all ignites at once. Best way I've found to use it, is light the cutting torch and adjust flame to correct mixture, then "knock" the flame out by tapping the torch tip on a scrap board. Circle the bead with the non burning torch a couple of times -- then bring the torch away and relight the flame -- then simply pass the lit torch near the unseated bead to ignite the oxy/acetylene mixture INSIDE the tire ..... and presto! No lingering flames, no mess. Use common sense, and remember less is best until you are successful -- better to redo a few times while applying more mixture each time than to injure someone and/or ruin a tire on the very first attempt due to overdoing things! Oxy/acetylene is extremely flammable so it gets with program quickly while always remaining in a gaseous state -- so ALL of it in a close proximity will burn in a very short time -- thus why I like it better than ether.

Great trick to pop the tire on and the tire soap is re-usable too!! 👍Although wasn't sure I would try the ether trick on a baler tire but lucky you've got your own fire truck 👍🚒 hope you manage to get everything done in time before the bad weather comes, and preferably no cow's calving in that weather too when it comes !!! Talk about soul destroying.☹☔🌧🌪🌩🐃 great video Mike 👍stay safe. 🙂👍

Howdy, in regards to the ether/starting fluid try to get more inside of the tire. Don't get carried away with the amount but once you find that right amount it will seat the bead. If you hook up your handy dandy little air hose adapter you can have air going into the tire after the "pop" when the tire starts to contract and your air hose will counteract the contraction that wants to pull it back off the bead.

Hi Mike, great video! Enjoy them all. Coincidentally we had the same problem last week with a rear tire on a Cat tractor, which had been sitting outside all winter on a property just outside Roundup WY. We tried WD 40/Dish soap and straps all to no avail. Wish we had known about Murphy's. In the end a neighbor used lighted ether to pop it back on the rim.

Thanks for showing some ways how to do this. I got a backhoe and the front left tire just lost air and looks kinda like this...although it's a smaller tire. It still had me wondering how am I going to get this on. I don't have any Murphys soap. But I suppose hydraulic grease is what I'll try to make a seal. Thanks again, off to try and pop it on now.

You use the airline with starting fluid or bead blaster with airline hooked up get a lock on fitting for your air hose so it locks on to the valve stem it's worth it's weight in gold great video I fight tires on the farm every day and even all of the things I mentioned don't always work on the first try either but it does help I prefer the bead blaster with airline but have tried just about everything depending on where I'm down
