Habs fan here. Watching a rival fan like Steve is what makes sports great. Lots of emotion on the table on both sides and I can empathize...cause I know I wouldve felt exactly like that had we lost the 5th game the way we played so far. Not going to lie, I had no hopes when it was 3-1, but we were shown a team. Now no matter what happens in game 7 I can live with the outcome. Best of luck to the Leafs, lets have a good sudden death game, its been a while between us eh?

Steve, as a Habs fan, I can tell you that THIS is what true ancient rivalry playoff hockey is about because I've seen it over a dozen times against Boston (You had a video about the Habs vs B's rivalry when you were MUCH younger, remember?). When two ancient rivals clash in the playoffs, standings don't matter, home ice advantage doesn't matter and the regular season series doesn't matter (just check out the Jets and Oilers for proof of that). The series will be VERY contested and usually VERY balanced. I've waited 38 years for this series to happen (the last time it did, I was three years old and didn't care about hockey yet) and you know what Steve? Even if the Habs lose (which I expected in no more than 5 games), I don't care because I'm so insanely happy to be watching the Habs vs. Leafs in the playoffs!!! It feels completely unreal, like winning the lottery and more magical than any other non-conference/cup final that I've ever seen in my entire life. After the Habs secured a playoff spot, I was praying for them to lose to the Oilers to ensure that I'd FINALLY get to see my dream series, no matter how good or how bad that series was for the Habs. I just desperately wanted to see it!!! Well, as it turns out, this will be a series to remember, one of the best playoff series that I've ever seen. And you know, it's somehow extremely appropriate that after not meeting in the playoffs for over 40 years, the hockey gods decreed that this series MUST go to seven games. You're a class act Steve and as a Habs fan, I mast confess... we deserved to lose, you deserved to win. (BUT I'LL TAKE IT ANYWAY...)

Canes fan from Nashville. I was working last night and didn’t get to watch...this is a great Sunday morning watch. The Habs and Leafs are my #2 and #3 teams after having interactions with so many of then coming to Raleigh when the Canes first went to the Finals. Nothing is better than a Game 7, though. I’m torn. Go Canada?

As a Flyers fan, this reminds me of the Flyers-Islanders series in round 2 last year. The Islanders looked much better in most games, but the Flyers came back from 3-1 with 2 overtime wins in games they got outplayed in. I have complete faith in the Leafs to win game 7.

I am a leaf fan but honestly, seeing these two teams playing, it does not really matter who gets through, they don't stand a chance to win the cup. The jets are my favorite but getting through the AVS or the Knights is a different proposition, just to play Boston or Tampa ouch. Unfortunately, none of the two teams are contenders these year.
