Re: Zero is one of the most interesting isekai anime that has come out in the past few years. The story revolves around Natsuki Subaru being transported from Earth to a new world and he is granted one simple power: "Return By Death". Subaru must use this newfound power to save those he cares about, such as Emilia, Rem, Ram, Petra, Otto and Garfiel and more.
Who is Satella and why did she grant subaru this power? What is the motivation behind the witch cult which have members such as Petelguese the sin archbishop of sloth? These are some of the questions I'll tackle on this channel, I hope you enjoy it and most importantly also enjoy season 1 and season 2 of Re: zero and hopefully it does well enough to warrant a third season covering arc 5 (Season 3 re: zero).

Yet again my theory about Cecilus not listening to observers voices and not understanding what they talk came true. It makes sense now that why Cecilus died in Subaru's loops. This also makes my theory few months back that there might be some star gazers that deviated from their duties by disobeying the observers commands. Well, now the question is.. Is Cecilus purely lucky to survive by far because of meeting Subaru and Al?

@@just_lucidHaven't really thought about it, but Sphinx's Magic Circlea and perhaps Spica's authority cuts off an area/individuals connection from Od Laguna itself. It would be interesting if these may also cut off connections from the observers. Last time we saw connection getting cut from observer was Olbarts Infantization which essentially made Satella to find Subaru.

I don't agree that the benefits of being in the presence of Subaru or Al are luck. It is more like they make what should be luck into a certainty.

I really hope that Priscilla isn't one. It'd be preferable to me if she and Vincent were not Stargazers, as well as if people like Subaru and Russell were not equivalents. Reinhard could make sense depending on how it's implemented.

@@ShadowKoto What would be your take on this? We know that Priscilla knows about observers and is aware of her role on the stage as the one who will always be favored by it. If she is not stargazer, then from where do those informations come from?

So one thing I am wonder, is the fact that cecilus, reinhard and ( not confirmed but I am sure is the case) mad prince are star gazers, ok star gazer is a thing only in volachia, but comon, rainhard does the same thing, he talks with his sword / od laguna ( I forgot which one was), so the difference could be, cecilus doesnt care about the orders are given tô him, reinhard just dont receive orders, and the case of the mad prince, he follows, that the reason he Killed all his brothers and gained the title of mad prince, because " he listen tô voices"

For the blessing to be in effect does the werewolf need to be transformed? Or it still works if they're in human form? Because I just remembered Otto saying it was strange that no animal detected Todd getting close to the camp he and Petra were during Arc 7, and I don't think he'd transform just for that with so many people around

He also completely hid his race in empire where everyone has bunch of special skills. I wonder if someone skinning Garfiel could get the Earth blessing too or if it's just werewolf speciality.

@@galedex5661 Well, information is scarce regarding that. Though, *I would like to believe* that skinning is special to only few divine protections which has itself specially linked to the skin of individual. Though, in the latest Omega side story we have this guy called trellock which basically cuts skin and applies it to himself to gain their personalities. He could figure out Omega's immense knowledge by looking at her face and desired to have it. But yet again.. We don't really have information and by far trellock looks like so psychopath killer. Though the possibility of him skinning people and giving him actual buff *may be a thing in future chapters* And by above speculation sht, I would *NOT discuss f*ing skinning dead Reinhardt.*

*THINGS TO REMEMBER* Todd evading Otto's Divine Protection was because of his Divine Protection of Deception. Divine Protection is linked to soul, thats why Lamia got affected that time. Also Lami could split her soul to make more copies of herself. This may imply that the Werewolf skin is actually a part of a Soul which is carrying divine protection.

But only when harvested from live werewolf. Seems like dead werewolf skin loses the touch of divine protection. I guess it makes sense, it would be body without soul. But now we know that Todd/Zombie Todd are gonna be a sneaky problem in the capital when this werewolf skin was foreshadowed.

It's specifically referring to the skin of a _werewolf_ (A half-wolfman like Todd) and not a full _wolfman_ (Like Halibel). While Halibel could have it, only werewolves were said to possess it, meaning that Todd is the only one who's confirmed to have the Divine Protection of (Whatever Translators Decide to Call it).
