Lately all The other Resident evil remakes by far The insects And spiders have been absent, Including the mini enemies, The closest insect that was in Resident Evil three Remake Are the drain demons Which are Zombie Fleas.

Yeah, I wish we had spiders. But to be fair, spiders barely ever attacked you in the original games. I do wish the Drain Demos were better, and Brain Suckers should of been present. I do know that crows should be present in a new RE1 Remake, because RE3 Remake mentions them in a note.

Honestly In my opinion, I think the reason why the zombies in the Resident evil one Remake under the RE engine, Are going to be able to take more bullets to the face Because in compared to resident evil two and three, There are fewer and limited amount of zombies Since it's going to take place in a mansion not a big city.

That's exactly why. They need to make them stronger so it balances out the difficulty. And it makes sense lore wise, considering the T Virus outbreak in the mansion was rather severe.

I don’t mind they are skipping re5 (ps I love that game) since if they handle this like a slow killer like Re2 but slower it will be good

They defintiely aren't skipping it, but I do hope that we get this game, a Code Veronica Remake, and then a 5 Remake to complete the whole Chris vs. Wesker story.

Crimson Heads return? :( That's the only thing I would have loved to see eliminated from the first remake. The zombies from the original were just fine, and they could have beefed them up in the 2026 remake and skip the Crimson Head mechanic entirely. I can't wait for the giant spiders, the hornets and the hunters. :)

The game was essentially punishing you for killing zombies.

@@manticore4952 Yes and no. In the general sense, yes, you are getting punished for killing zombies. But Resident Evil isn't meant to always be a zombie killer experience. It is a strategic game where you have to survive and think about when and where you want to dispose of enemies. The addition of Crimson Heads turn that dial up even more where you have to strongly consider on if it is worth it to kill this zombie or not. And if it IS worth it, you better be sure you have enough kerosine and a lighter on hand.

Well, if you compare it to RE3 and RE4, it is defintiely slower paced. If you've played the current RE1, it's defintiely slower. To be honest, all the original games get a bit quicker and more action packed as each game released.

Cleared it in 2.5 hours on my second run, it was incredibly easy.

@@manticore4952 Any game is usually easier to best on your second run. I've beaten this game a little under two hours for the platinum trophy.

Back on 2002, yes. It was almost a 1:1 recreation, fixed camera angles and all. It isn't the same type of remake we have gotten with 2-4, hence why we could be seeing a new remake that fits the current games. Fingers crossed!

@@RacoonCityPizza Well, I just hope that they dont messed it up. Maybe they will used the gameplay/combat mechanics of RE2 RE since the setting is inside the mansion but they might tweek it a bit to avoid rehashing the gameplay.
