I had never seen Alan Ritchson before I watched this show, but he was just as huge a positive surprise as Joel Kinnaman was in Altered Carbon. Really glad that they are already shooting season 3.

Fun fact for Aaron is that Alan Ritchson, the actor who plays Reacher was also Raphael in the new TMNT live action movies.

Episode 1 was the best introduction to each of the characters. I watched 1 episode, called my parents and said "I've got a new series for us to watch over Christmas" and rewatched episode 1 then the series with them. Looking forward to season 2 this Christmas with them

I just started watching Reacher the other day and I honestly couldn't stop until I caught up to S2 so far. I'm mad now I'm just getting on the bandwagon, this show is fucking incredible. The writing, the action scenes and the actors have been incredible.

I remember when this show came out. I was bored and was scrolling through the shows on Amazon Prime and I thought I'd check it out and I was definitely hooked after the first episode.

The first Jack Reacher movie is quite good, based on the 9th book 'One Shot'. Tom Cruise doesn't fit the physicality described in the books, but there is something to be said for a guy who is normal size yet can still handle himself. In fact it makes it more believable that others would underestimate him. 95 grain isn't _normally_ subsonic, but that's a clue. Off the shelf 9mm subsonic rounds are either 115 or more commonly 147 grain, usually used in conjunction with a suppressor, which we know the killer used. Even so, it's not recommended but possible to use a softer load to reduce the velocity of a 95 grain bullet, but care must be taken to avoid inconsistent pressures and poor cycling of the weapon. As such it demonstrates the shooter would need to be experienced in both shooting and reloading, like a hunter for instance.
