There were at least 3 FULL episodes shot during Season 2 that had nothing to do with Season 2 and from what some set-building and designer friends I have worked with previously on other movies and tv shows tell me, NONE of that footage was included in Season 2 which they have already seen. So, is it for a shortened Season 2.1 type prequel to Season 2 ??? Is it for future flashbacks that are actually "Full Episodes" in coming Seasons ??? Nobody seems to know including the actors, some of whom are actual Producers on the show now.

Defo bigger than I imagined when reading the books but they have nailed it . Trying to remember the book but at the beginning Reacher was looking a bit rough , bust nose using duck tape to keep it together 😅 surprisingly not many passer-by’s wanted to stop and give him a lift which he thought odd 😂

I still fondly remember sitting down to watch the first episode late one evening, just going to check it out. I ended up watching the whole season straight through. I almost never do that. Didn't get hardly any sleep that night, and I didn't care. Worth it. Looking forward to Season 2 is an understatement.

I'm stoked for this! As a fan of the novels I loved the first season, which I've watched twice now. Alan Ritchson's portrayal of Jack Reacher is spot on. He has just the right look and persona, and of course is built like a walking tank, as Reacher should be. A perfect casting choice.

With that being said, I'm glad he wasn't cast as Shazam because if he was, he wouldn't've been cast as Jack Reacher which he was born to play.

@@somebody700 exactly! To me casting Tom Cruise as Reacher was as bad of an idea as when Tyler Mane was cast as Michael Myers. The whole idea behind Myers is that he's average sized man with superhuman psychopathic strength and intelligence, not some nearly 7ft pro wrestler. Just like the key element of Reacher is his size and intimidating presence. Both Cruise and Mane are just not authentic to the characters they tried to portray.

Season 2 sucks balls . The storyline is just 😅to fucking simple , and looks feels like a total copy of some b movie on TV. Let's take revenge on the person that toke out our ex team members, ohh and one of our own could be evolved . That kind of sums it up, and all of that packed in 8 episodes . It's just lazy and dull No depth to the character to backstory nothing 😅

During the first episode Jack Reacher learns that the man he is wrongfully accused of murdering is actually his own brother, and he then swears to find out who did it and kill every last one of them. That sums up season 1. Or at least it could be put that simple. So how is one great, while the other one sucks? It challenged my ability to suspend disbelief to watch the money launder operation in season 1, because I think that that process would render the bills completely useless, because there would be trace amounts of detergent and chemicals on the bills that would be easily detectable. A scheme to sell a truckload of manpads on the black market seemed a lot more credible to me.

I read the books a decade ago, Reacher Season 1 is the BEST adaptation I have ever seen! The flaws of the book were even faithfully adapted. Alan is perfect as Reacher just exactly as I envisioned it reading the books.

At least - season 2! Hope to see Alan Ritchson playing Reacher for a long time to come. I always liked David Donovan, Reacher's buddy from the 110th, in this story. He doesn't have Reacher's physical presence but he makes up for it with a knuckle duster and a ceramic knife. Useful guy to have around.

The ending was so terrible compared to the book. Jesus... Also in the first 3 episodes of season 2 every time they don't stick to the book it gets so cheesy and bad... The airbag scene... Jesus Christ the scene in the book would have been so much better. Where they sticked quite close to the books in season one, you can already recognize that they put a lot of "additional" action to the series at season two just watching 3 episodes...

Hard way was 1st book I read of the series as my dad said I think you might like this. It’s your birthday hands legs or arms 😱. Pretty much read most but last few by Lee Child with his brother have been a bit lost and meh .

perfect concept for a series - base each season on a seperate book. It keeps the concept fresh and stops everything becoming stale. Do NOT under any circumstances change the lead -- he is perfect for the role and DO stay true to the source material

Read the original book The Killing Floor for the real Roscoe. She and Reacher have a different relationship than the series. The series waters down who Reacher is somewhat by changing Roscoe to something she evidently was not in the book

Anyone who’s read any of the books will struggle like I did to accept Tom Cruise as Reacher. But Alan Ritchson is much more like the character in the books and it’s adds so much to the TV series, can’t wait for series 2.

I think Cruise had the mannerism down, he played the part very well, but obviously he couldn't impose on people physically like Alan can. So Alan is definetely the better Reacher.

I've listened to all the jack reacher books . Absolutely love it. Around 28 books. The portrayal of reachee in the first season was fantastic and was ver closely based on the book.

@@etherspinI think the series format works well to depict the detail of the books. On film you’re restricted to trying to get the story told in 3 hours, whereas 8 60-90 minute episodes allow so much more storytelling.

Just finished season two and YES! Chef kiss 😘 I genuinely felt worried for the characters. Such a great show and the seasons were different but felt so connected. I’m bias, I liked the season 1 better but that was my intro to Reacher so it will have a special place but this did not disappoint. Everyone involved in this did an amazing job, crew and actors. The final diner scene made me laugh so hard lol

Had the incredible luck of bumping into Robert Patrick at a con last year. He is seriously one of the most down to earth all around nice guys who will just hang out and shoot the shit. He had mentioned this but did not go into great detail. He did say that the fans are going to love it.

As someone who has taken and studied Lee Child`s writing courses that the books were in his words, by design, written so they are not connected to each other so people could pick any of them up and enjoy it as its own story without having to have to read any of the other books. :)

I liked both of the Tom Cruise's movies, especially the first one. But Alan Ritchson gives the character much more of a commanding presence and kickass mannerism. Tom Cruise's version was more of a spy/detective while this version looks more like a soldier/survivor. I hope Ritchson gets more recognition in the industry because he's a great actor.
