There's a video of The Sing Off China were they are the singing guest. Kevin went to University in China and he shocks the audience by speaking fluent in Mandarin to them. It's pretty awesome cause apparently his Chinese accent is really good.

Yes. First performance together ever. As far is Kevin being smart, he did go to med school. The trio knew each other in high school, but they knew Avi and Kevin for only a couple of weeks. Also, you should listen to the judges commentary. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the ride. Cheers.😁

Scott, Kirstie, and Mitch were 19 then; Kevin was around 23-he had just graduated from college. Avi was 22. The "trio" had been friends since childhood, but the additions of Avi and Kevin happened right before the Sing Off began (they rehearsed together for the first time the day before they auditioned).

You have to watch the whole thing! It's very interesting to see what the judges say and how they criticized them and how they build off of that. Also, that was actually their second time performing together. The first time they ever performed together was for the audition for the show. They all met up the day before! Also Kevin really is so intelligent! He graduated from Yale University for pre-med and he's fluent in Mandarin Chinese!

It is really fun to see them from the beginning...and to see how the grow through the show. This was their first time on stage together...they had only met up with Kevin right before the show. Great reaction..The difference from this video even to 6,7..and on through the end when they won is such a difference.

Yeah, the coordinating theme happens throughout the show. It's so cute. What's amazing to me about this show is how well they worked together, right off, given they pretty much met Avi and Kevin right before it. Though you can see how they've grown, how much they are in sync, their individual gifts musically are there from the start. It's amazing to think of now, but Mitch was really kind of shy of soloing at first, and they really encouraged him as the show progressed. (Did it with Kevin and singing too, eventually, but after the show.) No need for suggestions, it'll be fun watching them through these performances.

Hi Nat. The 4th video is no longer copyrighted! They met the day before the audition. Scott sent Avi and Kevin the music in advance so they could learn it. This was their 1st live performance as a 5 piece group.

This is great! Love that you’re doing their Sing Off performances. The fourth performance, Video Killed the Radio Star, is where they really starting coming together. After that you can see them grow every week. Some of their later performances are truly amazing for live performances. Basically you just have to get through the next two performances, which aren’t their best, and it gets fun after that. Please react to the judge’s comments, too. They make some good points. And congrats on 1k subs!

These guys met each other, in person, the day before the audition. Mitch had just graduated high school, Kevin had just graduated from Yale (an ivy league college, they are a big deal), Kirstie and Scott were in college and Avi had recently won a THE major a Capella contest with his group. So they all were great individually, but they hadn't learned how to blend their sound yet. You'll see that they are quick studies and progress far in a short amount of time.

You don't have to steer clear of their 4th performance for fear of copyright violation... it is no longer being blocked. It was after this performance that most people knew, THIS is the group that would ultimately WIN!

Yes - incredible as it seems, this is their first public performance EVER! In fact, they had only met Avi and Kevin a week or so before, two days before their audition for the show. That shows just how skilled they all are, to be able to mix so well so fast. You may have noticed - during much of this performance, Avi was doing overtone singing. That is where he sings a bass note and sings a second note above it. It either sounds like a whirring noise, like during Kirstie's solo, or it sound like a whistle, like during Mitch's solo. I think the camera person though Kirstie was doing the whistle note, because they showed her, but it was Avi. Oh - and at the end of many of the performances, there is a short clip of them talking about it. The clip at the end of this one is really funny and sweet. I hope you go back and watch it. Can't wait for more!

You don’t have to worry about the fourth performance anymore. It used to have copyright issues, but they were resolved. No one has had issues with that video lately. It’s one of the best performances so I highly suggest reacting to it 😊

They actually only met one day before they preformed together for the first time. They are an epic group, they are so talented and special. I love your reactions, I'm not sure if your going to be reacting to all of their sing off performances, but you should defiantly check out their 3 and 12 performance. Love your videos and I can't wait for more.

Definitely do the fourth performance, since it isn’t blocked anymore. It was their breakout performance, the first to really define their sound.

"Kevin sounds intelligent." Yeah, absolutely. He graduated from Yale with a degree in East Asian studies (speaks fluent Chinese) and completed all pre-med requirements, as well as originally starting out as a music major (cello and saxophone).

They only came together as a group the day before their audition for the show. Thanks for saying you will make a playlist, although I do watch other videos it is helpful to see which videos you have already reacted to when requesting new reactions. I watch so many reactors that it is hard to keep track of who has reacted to my favorites.

It's fun to see how far they have progressed since the Sing Off. There are some videos on YT where they react to seeing some of their early performances. Scott and Mitch hooked up during the Sing Off ( They said it in their Biography), they used to date in Highschool to, but during the Sing Off they thought, they are better as friends. The Future Friends Album is about that whole Topic, the first 6 Videos/Songs are from Scotts view and the last 6 from Mitch, so if you react to more Superfruit Songs, have that in your mind :)
