Amazing group! Better with time their voices blend with perfection. Of the four I believe Celina’s voice has natured the most and is incredible. The other three were their already!! Incredible.

I love PTX's interpretation of this song. From what I've read, It's not what Lennon's was. It's ironic. He wrote this song while living in the Dakota apartments in NYC, a very expensive piece of real estate. I read somewhere that he once said something to the effect that it was a musical summary of Marxist communism.

Notice how the only butts they focus on are the guys', not the ladies. They were not out to objectify the girls. The beatboxer and the one in the cowboy hat are Adam and Chris Rupp, brothers and co-founders of the group. Their sister Tristin used to work for a modeling agency and that's where the ladies came from. Chris has since left the group and he and Tristin are one-half of a group called 7th Ave. They have a video for Uptown Funk that is a lot of fun to watch.

I've just been looking through your PTX playlist, and I see that you haven't watched their -cover- upgrade of _Bohemian Rhapsody_ yet. They put a lot of work into it because they wanted to get it just right, and some of what they did is nearly unbelievable. I think you would greatly enjoy it.

True pentaholics tend to listen to Pentatonix Christmas songs year-round, so don't let the lateness of your reaction to _Little Drummer Boy_ worry you. In return, Pentatonix frequently puts something that isn't specifically a Christmas song on their Christmas album - their cover of _Hallelujah_ was on a Christmas album, and there's nothing particularly Christmassy about it. I should point out that Pentatonix puts out a Christmas album every year, so there's a *lot* of Pentatonix Christmas music to choose from.

_Imagine_ *always* makes me want to cry, not just when Pentatonix sings it - probably because I'm older than you are. _Imagine_ was John Lennon's masterpiece, and probably the most important song of the 20th century, perhaps of all time. John had just 40 years of life on this planet, before he was ambushed and murdered. I was in my late 20s at the time, and I still remember the shock and grief when I heard the news. As of this December (2022) it will be 42 years since John's murder. I've lived longer without John Lennon in the world than his entire time in the world, yet the shock and the grief are still there, still as strong as the day it happened. My church sings _Imagine_ as a hymn. *I* sing _Imagine_ as a hymn. I try to incorporate the ideals of _Imagine_ into my everyday life, as much as possible; that's pretty much all an individual can do with it. But Pentatonix came to _Imagine_ with great respect for John, and for the song, and they found a way to make the song even more vivid, more *itself.* I wish John were alive to see this video. It would make him proud.
