Yeosang was the reason I got into Ateez and even though Jongho is my ult, Yeosang is still one of my biases and I adore him with all of my heart. I swear sometimes I just want to cry over him. Although we will never love him more than San because he is Yeosang's number #1 fan or Wooyoung because Yeosang will always be his best friend.

Wait until you hear about Seonghwa and Hongjoong's story too... Ateez were really destined to be together and they love each other so much😭 The friendships in this group are the sweetest stories and the way the members talk about one another is the proof of how much they mean to each other... I don't know if there are good and updated videos that showcase all this, but if i ever come across one I'll make sure to recommend it!! Yes! Yeosang is my ult and he is sooo cute. I love it whenever he speaks because we get to hear his deep voice as well as his little lisp that he speaks with. And I adore him, he makes me just wanna bawl my eyes out 😭. And I just love how yeosang will always be Ateez’s baby that they take care of and protect.

As far as I know, the members who had a major background in dance were Yunho, Yeosang, Mingi and Wooyoung. Yunho and Mingi went to the same dance academy before joining KQ and Wooyoung did tumbling. Wooyoung and Yeosang’s “specialty” as trainees was dance and Yeosang once showed us a choreo on vlive in 2019 that he and Wooyoung did way back in 2016 in their monthly evaluation and Wooyoung said he was amazed Yeosang remembered it so well. Pretty sure Mingi can b boy (maybe Yunho too but idk. Seonghwa was also the leader of a dance group in his hometown, I think he made it with school friends? Yeah so most of ATEEZ were dancers before joining KQ Fellaz. Edit: if you’re interested in Yeosang, I happen to be an expert 🫢 First thing is that he’s actually as innocent as they say, not in an infantilising way but ATEEZ and his old classmates (they posted a ton of comments on how sweet and pure and hardworking he was after debut) make that very clear. Wooyoung said he needed to teach Yeosang how to be firmer because he’s always been super gullible and Yeosang’s parents were glad to know he had Wooyoung around when they were still kids. His parents didn’t support his dream too much and he spent a lot of his trainee days alone. He said he ran away in middle school to prove his passion to his parents about wanting to go to a performing arts high school even though he knew how strict they were (his mum was a teacher and had him in advanced academics from a young age, and they wanted him to be a lawyer). In the end, they compromised saying they’d let Yeosang become a trainee and study music, but they enrolled him in an autonomous private school and said he’d be able to continue music so long as he kept his grades up and attended school every day (for context, a lot of trainees get permission to miss a lot of school/go to performing arts schools so don’t have to worry about it anyways, so working around his private school schedule as a trainee was really hard on him, and his classmates said they could tell how exhausted he was but he never stopped being kind and hardworking, and his excitement for dance and music was amazing). He also secretly attended a special music academy since he wasn’t allowed to attend an arts school. And earlier this year Yeosang said his mother had told him she didn’t need to worry about him and that he’d become a professional, and said that was the first time he felt his mother had acknowledged his job.

my favorite part about this guide is where they're like, "yunho is such a talented dancer! he has a natural inclination to matching the beat of the rhythm he's dancing to!" like damn I hope so. that's how u dance, and also be a musician... ANYWAY additional info: woosan must really be committed to the friendship slogan they mentioned in this ("amicus ad aras") because they got matching tattoos of it lol. and as far as I know, it's san's only tattoo, tho wooyoung has a couple others. also finally: I wouldn't feel too bad about being older than most of them, ateez is babies.

I'm so happy you reacted to this guide! It does a great job of demonstrating their personalities through clips instead of just telling you about them. I'd hold off on The Ultimate Guide until you've gotten through all of their music and Kingdom performances. That one has a spoiler warning for good reason--it shows the best parts of the best performances. It clearly wasn't made with newbies in mind, but is awesome for those who are further on in their journey.
