About Kq, they didnt plan to produce a boy group at first. They are originally a company for song writers, producers and composers. Since Hongjoong is interested in composing and producing, he auditioned to them by sending a mix tape. HJ waited for kq ‘s decision until one day they called him. Because of Hongjoong, they decided to have trainees and form a boy group (they saw he’s potential since he’s good at singing, rapping and dancing thats why they decided it). Then now, people think how KQ form these talented boys , they are gems

Seonghwa is considered the mom of the group because he's soft-hearted and comforting. Hongjoong is considered the dad since he's the disciplinarian. KQ is a small to moderate size company. It's a long and convoluted story, but KQ began as Seven Seasons, a company whose purpose was to represent Block B so they could leave their original company. Later the CEO created KQ as the parent company to Seven Seasons. So Block B is under the same over arching lable and consider themselves Ateez's seniors. Since you've seen Wonderland, I'd love to see your reaction to their 2019 MAMA performance and their Symphony 9 From the Wonderland performance on Kingdom Legendary War (KLW).

Glad you are interested getting to know them better, ATEEZ is a group that is truly worth knowing. Also no wonder that you haven't heard of KQ Entertainment, since ATEEZ were the first act to debut under KQ (now theres Maddox, a soloist, too). Hongjoong was literally the first to join and while I'm not saying that KQ is perfect, they do prioritize things like their artists mental health (best example being how Mingi was on hiatus for around 8 months and before he came back KQ consulted Mingi, his parents and mental health professionals etc.) and they don't have things like dating or tattoo bans - in fact, Hongjoong has a tattoo he designed himself on his ankle and Wooyoung & San have their friendship slogan "amicus ad aras" tattooed. And when it comes to showing off abs or wearing revealing clothes, the members themselves get to decide that. ATEEZ do highly praise their CEO and managers & other staff for taking good care of them, so seems like KQ is going to right direction. Also this guide didn't really cover ATEEZ' music team, Edenary. Eden is the main producers along with 6 others who produce & write every ATEEZ song - and when the guide said ATEEZ storyline is very deep that doesn't mean just the MV's, but also the music, as they have one big overarching story going through all the albums. Not every song is that closely connected but there are many common themes and some songs directly connect to one another. Eden is also Hongjoong's mentor when it comes to making music - the latest album, Zero Fever part 3, has actually 2 songs made by Hongjoong, Rocky and All about you, this is the first time an album has more than 1 song made by Hongjoong^^ Oh and yes of course Mingi and Hongjoong write for every album and recently some of the other members have expressed interest in writing and/or producing music, can't wait to see that happen! Yeah I think you got Yunho and Jongho mixed up - which is very common at the start. Good tips to tell them apart: Yunho is the tallest and has slightly longer face and he is the main dancer while Jongho is the maknae, a bit more stocky and powerful body with rounder face and killer vocals. I agree that it would be good idea to go back to their debut and check out their MV's in that order if you want, but their b-sides are brilliant and bring so much variety to the table I highly recommend them too. Also it's soooooo common to have multiple biases in ATEEZ or just be ot8 biased, I hear other atinys whining about this constantly and really they are all so precious how could you not love all 8?? Oh and lastly, yeah I get being a bit nervous about idols being too close with their fans, but I'd say ATEEZ does well keeping the boundary and also calling out people who cross the line. Especially Hongjoong going full on rant mode when someone says something bad about his members. All the members are indeed very close (and yes, sooooo many kisses all over the place - and also biting is a thing and talking about how attractive others butts are), there's this thing they do on their birthdays for example: the 7 other members write special messages to the birthday boy and then read it aloud making it into a video "ATEEZ Voice Rolling Paper" and well...let's just say I've cried multiple times when listening those and seeing the love, respect and appreciation they have for each others.

There is actually a specific order of what to watch with ATEEZ, I hope the list below will help. Take note that there is a storyline being followed as well. Except for the ones I'll put a * on it. From * (Pre debut) Pirate King + Treasure Say My Name + HALA HALA (+ Promise *) Illusion + Wave + Utopia + Aurora Wonderland + WIN Answer + Horizon (+ Star 1117 *) Inception + THANXX Celebrate + Fireworks + The Real Dreamers Deja Vu + Eternal Sunshine In that order, you should be able to connect or somehow see how the storyline unfolds.

Fun fact...Im an army and fell in love with ateez cause they remind me of bts in their early days...like both groups come from small companies, both trained in America, both being more popular internationally than in Korea...both being mistreated in Korea (not BTS anymore but they also were in their early days because they weren't from a big 3 company)... so don't worry about mentioning BTS alot of Atiny are Armys too ❤❤

Her comment about ATEEZ wanting to have a relationship with atinys is heart warming. We have had a few problems with fan sites and stalkers messing with the guys and invading their privacy, especially Yeosang (because he takes piano lessons and is an MC for The Show so he has a lot of solo outings) and San (he’s just really popular), but generally Atiny gets feral when someone threatens our pirates. One girl from Texas went full guard dog for the guys when these girls followed the guys to their bus, to the point where she said “I’ll beat your ass in front of your bais” when they threatened her for protecting they guys. Thanks for reacting to the guide. Just so you know, Ateez are actually BTS fanboys. Specifically, Wooyoung is THE BIGGEST Army you will probably meet in the idol world. He goes absolutely crazy if someone even mentions BTS in front of him. In fact, he says that the blood of Army runs through the veins of his body - LOL! And he is Jimin biased 🙂. ATEEZ is a wonderful group, I'm really glad you are branching out into other groups. They have visuals for days, awesome vocals, epic raps, and are all amazing dancers and yet they are the sweetest little babies ❤ You should probably pause when you talk though, you tend to look at the camera when you talk and end up missing things. 38:25 Another idol added to the list of Wooyoung's idol friends is iKON's Jay. He went and personally asked for Jay's number at the backstage of KINGDOM: Legendary War. During that show it was also revealed that the ATEEZ boys are big fans of iKON and one of the groups they look up to, so it must mean a lot to Wooyoung that his idol willingly gave his number to him. Also because of the fact that they found out that their dorms are a couple of blocks away and by that we can simply assume that they have been hanging out after.

🥺 i like to think we find the people we love most in our times of biggest need. i found bts in 2015 when i was going through a really rough patch and in fact my life has been changed so drastically that feeling empty n sad n hurt is the norm for me even 6 years later but bts and their music kept me alive and here today. i first discovered ateez a few hours right after they debuted completely by chance! that was three whole years ago, and i loved their debut EP but never really got to stan the group or keep up with their releases after, but i see from my atiny friends that they were doing well for themselves n it made me happy! so imagine how 2 years later when i was in a really bad depressive rut and i rediscovered ateez again, and this time, they were the ones who pulled me out of it. i have stanned so many kpop groups since 2009 n while bts is untouchable for me, ateez is really up there! i love thie music their energy and their personalities so much! thank you for saying such lovely things about them 💗

Just a small advice, it's OK to mention a different group to the one you're reacting since it happens to all of us. But please don't end up comparing everything to a different group. Even if the members are fans as you are or whatever, just please don't mention another groups all the time. I'm not saying you're doing it (that's why it's just an advice).
