I think someone might have already said this but if you ever want to do a guide the best one is the ultimate guide to ateez 2023, it is very long though.

It's difficult to follow Ateez mv without understanding their lore. Here's the best explanation I've read to date: Ateez are pirates who were gifted that hourglass (called a chromer) which allows them to travel through time and between dimensions. At first, they are searching for treasure and having adventures, but eventually they run into these bad guys who have chains where their faces should be. The bad guys are from Dimension Z, whereas Ateez is from Dimension A which is presumably where we are as well. But there is another version of Ateez from Dimension Z called the Black Pirates (aka Halateez) who are the enemies of the no-face guys. At first Ateez teams up with Halateez to fight against the no-face guys (they are the ones in the black hats in the MVs for Answer, Say My Name, and Hala Hala). Eventually something happens and Halateez disappear (I'm not totally clear on this part) and Ateez ends up in Dimension Z instead of Halateez. What they discover is that the no-face guys are in charge of the government and they have brainwashed everyone in Dimension Z to have no emotions so that they can be controlled. Ateez sets up a subversive movement to take down the corrupt government and restore emotion to the people. To do this they use propaganda in the Guerrilla music video and chili peppers in the Bouncy music video (because apparently people can feel the burn of the spicy chilies and that helps reconnect them to feeling). They also smuggle weapons in the chilis. In this current episode (Crazy Mode mv) they need to finish taking down the government and get the heck out of Dodge. But the chromer is broken. It broke at the end of the Deja Vu music video so how are they supposed to leave? Yunho and Wooyoung are working on the pirate ship in the lab. Meanwhile Jongho and Mingi break into the lounge where the high government officials do their business and start shooting things up. They other members are being rounded up by the government but they just have to wait till Jongho kills the leader and Wooyoung gets the pirate ship projected in the sky. Once done, the team is thrilled and heads for it. If you notice that in the beginning scene there is a crescent moon and in the final scene a full moon. Ateez can only travel on the full moon. In the extra scene at the end you see the full moon, but the pirate ship and presumably Ateez as well are gone even though they left the broken chromer in Dimension Z. In the song Halazia, Yeosang has a line, "little blue bird that list it's voice." I think they are using this as a metaphor for the people that lost their emotions (if you examine the other lyrics of Halazia). At the end of Crazy Form, you can clearly hear the bluebird singing as it takes to the sky. I assume this means that the bluebird found its voice and the people found their lost emotions. But without the chromer to help them travel will they be able to get back to Dimension A or will their new ship take them somewhere unexpected?

It helps me find the connection between these two songs. oh boy this is a LOT ( bouncy in itself is too much) to cover in a single video. I'm SAT 😂 I LOVE the yunho and san vocals appreciation say it louder for all the people in the back. the "he's crazy" commentary at Seonghwa LMAOOOOOO yup I have yet to listen to the new album (and I bet I will love it) but The World EP.2 : OUTLAW (the one that came out with bouncy) was one of the top ones this year for me. it's a LOT and not a chill session type of album, but the vocals, harmonies, the rap and the production are top tier. the vibez were just it for me, on top of it being very conceptual, I'm a sucker for those listen when it comes to their lore I'm kinda lost. waiting for other atinys with actual brain cells to say what's what lmao

I really recommend getting more into Ateez! Their B-sides are some of the best in kpop (every fandom says that about their group lol) but these past 3 albums they’ve released have been absoutely no skips. I really think you’d love their song “Dune” off the last album, “Mist”, “Arriba”, “Aurora”, “Be With You” (a beautiful ballad) for some “slower” songs from them. their personalities are what attracts a lot of atinys too. They’re so unserious and kind. They’re so inclusive and are so supportive of each other and the fandom, I swear they don’t have a bad bone in their bodies. Their relationship with each other is also phenomenal. It’s always a fun time with them and I think if you give them a chance you would fall in love!! They have tons of content on their official KZfaq channel and a variety show called “Wanteez” that displays their personalities and the editing and concepts they do are hilarious! I also admire them for always being themselves music wise and not changing their style for other people or based off of other peoples opinions. Hongjoong has said in multiple interviews that they will keep doing them and if you don’t like it then that’s ok. I definitely recommend watching their live performances, they’re almost always better live and their stage presence and vocals are, imo the best in the 4th gen!!! Some fun videos with them are “Ateez styled me for a week”, “Ateez dances with Kids”, any of the Hello82 contents, “Ateez compete in a compliment battle”. And also I NEED to talk about their fashion!! Seonghwa’s style of clothing in his words are “gender less, slender, and sleek”. He wears corsets quite often and his eye makeup is always to die for!! He always gives mother 😍. Hongjoong is also a fashionista and he’s Balmain’s Prince !!! He never wears the same thing twice , a complete fashion icon!!

They have many MVs where there is an ending which is a spoiler for the next song. If you enjoyed the choreo, there is a MAMA performance which they did the day before the cb. If you listen to the songs of this album. This is their second full album. They also have Unit songs for the first time.😊 - Seonghwa / Hongjoong - Yeosang/ San/Wooyoung - Yunho/Mingi - Jongho The whole World Series is finished with this album now. The whole world series is just so amazing. :)

i think you would absolutely adore ateez if you started getting into their albums/b-sides. the world ep. fin : will is the album that just came out and that 'crazy form' is on. it is ateez's second ever full-length album and i would wholeheartedly recommend that you check it out! it's an album that showcases the amazing variety ateez have and is just a work of art in my opinion. i also think it's a perfect gateway for getting into/listening to the rest of ateez's discography. i promise you won't regret getting deeper into them!

Their Bsides are quite good as well. I became an Ateez fan because of learning that they share a number of producers/composers with Dreamcatcher. Even though they are from different companies they seem to have good relations with Dreamcatcher, who have have appeared a few times on Idol Radio with Hongjoong (Ateez's leader) and Yunho - who are the hosts.

You know what’s funny? 😂 just like MONSTA X at first, I though ATEEZ wasn’t for me. I prefer more melodic and softer songs and before I knew ATEEZ discography well and the group’s talents and amazing personalities, I had the impression that all or most of their title tracks were hard hitting and extreme. They are, so I wasn’t wrong about that, but over time I definitely have gotten used to the hard hitting route they usually go. Now I appreciate it for days and their sound (same with MONSTA X) and genres they tend to do have become a drug to my ears. All their title tracks are god-tier, both in quality and production . Just by looking at their mvs and if you don’t know the group or company or both well, it’s easy to mistake that small company for a big company as wealthy as the big 4 companies (in my opinion at least, maybe that’s not the case for everyone though). I love ATEEZ so much. They’re in my top 4 groups that I love

On the profiles of theirs (when you google them) it says he belongs to the Main Dancer Line so yeah he pretty good with his body movements. And i'm sure it got mentioned somewhere in the comments already but this album got some calmer songs in it !! Especially a solo song by jongho !! he's a phenomenal singer and those high notes are gonna make one ascend so quick like, yeah it's seriously good. Would definitely recommend going through the whole album one by one, from the first song to the last because it flows so so so beatutifully together !! ps. i agree on the ending hyping the whole song up even more, so that we are left replaying it again and again because we can't get enough of it. it's really smart lol
