Today, the three of us reacted to Ateez’s second title track, ‘The Real’ off their latest album, Zero: Fever Epilogue.
We had previously watched and listened to this song when it was released on Kingdom earlier this year.
We loved it then and we love it now!
What a perfect ending to the ‘Fever’ era!

Loved the group reaction! Heung more closely translates into "exuberance" than just "fun", especially when listening to music or dancing. Oh yeah, this version absolutely slayed!

It's somehow further relatable to word 'Prosperity' according to the producer...

@@markoandasan3492 hmmm, I'm a native Korean speaker and the word heung (흥) has very little relation to the word "prosperity". It's interesting that the producer said something like that. There could be some hidden meaning that I'm not aware of.

So appearantly this MV is fairly similar to a late 90's early 2000's Korean film or series called Volcanoe High. A new kid comes to this awful school seperated by cliques. He doesn't join one which makes him a prime target at the school. He has telekinetic powers or something like that. This MV made it seem like those clubs were trynna recruit him on his first day. The baseball club, calligraphy club annnd biker club I believe? The clubs unify in the end to fight a bigger enemy. Hence the ending. I haven't seen the film, but I deffiently want to. A reactor mentioned this and j asked my uncle who deffiently saw Volcanoe high and they said its pretty damn reminiscent so now I really really want to watch it hahaha

Apparently this is no where near the end of the storyline but I guess we've just got to wait for the next chapter of the story. Either way I'm enjoying everything they release especially this version of the real

I was waiting for this post :) I ult ateez so im always looking forward to everything they do. THE ALBUM, PLS fan service at its finest. i stan a lot of groups, but ateez, they really do the most for their fans. this version of the real is so inventive and symbolic. It just showed so well that they pour their hearts and souls into their music. I'm so happy you guys liked it as much as I did!

I am half of a twin as well, and been watching your reactions to Ateez since they're my ults. Unfortunately, my twin sis is not much of an Ateez fan, or maybe let's just say I've yet to convert her lol

My interpretation of this is (all guess work lol) there is two Yeosangs. The one in black (assumed gone back in time) Is the one that broke the hour glass. is watching everything happen from afar. And this is when they first met and They realised how strong they are together. Yeosayng (in white) had been watching them in school and finally made the peace between them. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Great MV and the album is so good. Specially hearing Mingi on the kingdom songs.
