Great reaction. 'Metal Kingdom' is the opening track on the album (being released 24th March) - so of course they used it for the epic theatrical opening number at their concerts two weeks ago - their first live shows in nearly 2 years. Those were at the Makurahi Messe, 2 nights sold out in minutes, 25k people each night. This was the live performance but with the studio audio - the video was released less than a week after the concerts they filmed it at, so it is understandable why it has the studio audio. We will have to wait for the DVD for the live audio.

You saw one octagonal movable / elevatable stage but actually there were two identical stages for more surprising production. Several drones with camera were flying around all over the venue. Once this opening song by Su and Moa got started, I had goosebumps all over my body. The show was held after the almost 2-year long hiatus after all. Seriously many of audience were moved to tears and/or dropped their jaws when the gigantic fox wall opened and the thrones came out. Yeah! I chanted all through the song. ♪ Oh oh oh o o o ♪. What a happy experience!! The Kami band was playing on the east stage that was not captured in this video. After this grave opening, 3 girls performed 12 songs with Momoko Avenger. Did you see 3 (not 2) thrones at 06:17 in your video? Yeah, BM will change. The official 3rd girl is going to be unveiled in the next shows in Yokohama on April 1/2. Yes, at last ✌ ps-1: I luckily managed to get tickets to the two-day shows in April. 😍 p2-2: You are also lucky, because you have chances to see the new trio in UK. They will join Sabaton's Europe tour as a special guest and perform at 4 venues in Leeds, London (Wembley), Cardiff and Glasgow in April.

I've seen Alice Cooper a few times, king Diamond, ZZ Top, and many other metal rock bands, at shows and festivals. Babymetal are up with the best I've seen in my 40 years as a concert goer. Just some trivia to add, there are some members of Sakura Gakuin in this performance as the 10 'apostles' with staves. Miko Todaka, Sakia Kimura, Miki Yagi, Yume Nozaki. And maybe Momoko Okazaki since she wasnt seen performing as an Avenger here. It was also rumored that Riho Sayashi (avenger) was also one of them. The rest included Yume's younger sister Junna, Kokona Kato (who performed with Miko and Sakia as what we are calling Chibi Babymetal), and one other who are from Amuse Camp, Mika Negishi, and Claire Naomi. I attended the live concert that this video is based on. I sang loudly. It was a lot of fun😁I still feel happy and grateful to be in the same time with BABYMETAL. If I have any advice... You should go to their live show when you can. Don't think! Feel it! That's what I mean 😁.

Babymetal taking on symphonic metal was probably not something any of us were expecting, but I think it turned out incredibly well. I was lucky enough to be there at Makuhari Messe for the world premiere performances on the 28th and 29th of January, and it was absolutely mindboggling how good they were live. They opened the show with this song, and it was nothing short of spectacular, leaving the audience in a state of awe. No-one puts on a show like Babymetal does.

I'm going to the UK for the first time for the Wembley show, a pity you are not there, I'd say hello if I see you xD It seems the performance was pretty crazy, after two years of being sealed (hiatus) they opened the concert with this song. And there is not even all the theatrics in here, before this, when the lights went off, the retinue of girls with the staffs started to walk towards the doors walking in a solemn procession for a couple of minutes, with already light stuff going on and smoke. When they reached the doors, they put the keys on the door and a big "hum" resounded around all the arena. The seal was broken. The fox eyes went red, the doors opened, the thrones entered from the doors and when the lights focused, there was Su after two years nowhere to be seen. A lot of western fans were there and a lot of people was crying.

Great reaction, as usual Babymetal live is something which draws us in even through a screen, they create this immersive live experience like no other.

I cannot deny that I'm missing the cute and playful side of their songs and choreography. But I'm also glad to see that the new BABYMETAL is the next best thing. The songs are very good, and Su is beyond amazing. I adored her in Monochrome, but here she takes it up yet another notch. One thing I'm noticing is that the new songs need a few listens to grow on me, but that trend already started with Metal Galaxy. On the first two albums I pretty much loved everything right away.

We were expecting this live proshot version but we'll have to wait next month for live sound. We got so many big news and announcements, a new official member is coming (most likely Momoko Okazaki, the one who has been performing with them all these years and latest live concerts) next live shows in April 1st (Fox Day) when returning once again with another headlining shows at PIA ARENA MM Yokohama. Also they performed with a new BM mirror unit coming from another world of this metalverse, so we're guessing maybe some of the older kawaii metal songs they don't play anymore will be back with this new unit, so stay tuned for more but like always OTFGK. There was some minor issues when SuMetal was singing this live a little bit off, apparently an IEM issue or something but is all good coz we all know it's been a while since performing live and is the premiere of this song, pretty sure next live shows will be better. Nice reaction. The Regal return of her majesties Su and Moa. The talk after the two show they just did is how great it is to have them back and then at the end of the second show they hinted that come April they might be adding new third member. I hope it's Momoko who came out after this song and did the rest of the show with them. except the end where it was just Su and Moa. These may be the last shows of them being a duo. Making being at these shows special. While at the same time making being at the upcoming April 1st and 2nd shows must have tickets. Moa has learned the death stare and I think the biggest hint that Momoko is going to be the new member. Is there's a great picture from the concert with Momoko giving her best death stare. Considering during the last tour Momoko was all smiles all the time. This is a big development for her. To have the stage presence to be part of Babymetal. As you have said, and many others Su and Moa's stage presence is huge. A must have for anyone who would be on stage with them. All theory and speculation until April. Which happens to be Fox Day in Japan. Babymetal over the years have made big announcements on this day. A new member would be big. Another new release from the new album is due out this month as well. Enjoy the journey through the foxhole and into the Babymetal galaxy of metalverses.

Ohhoh ohh oh-oh oh! Long time no see! I was waiting for your reaction to this MV! I have watched your reactions to both Divine Attack and Monochrome (excellent stuff), but was late to the comments for them! I was determined to not miss out on this one lol! So...I've been having something along the lines of mixed feeling on Metal Kingdom, which has transfered to expectations of the album overall, but hear me out... There's not a day that goes by that I don't listen to BABYMETAL, and recently (like many of The One) these new songs have made up the bulk of my listening. Through that, I've notices a theme, or rather a pattern, which is what's given me these mixed feelings. All three of these new songs have outright been amazing on their own, but I'm finding the repetition a little...daunting maybe? Like, it's kept me from forming overall conclusions? Divine Attack, Monochrome, and now Metal Kingdom all have the same flow. They all start with explosive intros, then lead into subdued verses (Su's beautiful vocals on display), with repetitive ear-worm backing vocals, and other minute similarities. Like, the misuc in itself is still holding to be different for each song, but the construction has all been similar. And I get it, it's a concept album, so things like this should be expected....but as all of The One knows, expecting the unexpected has always been the thing expected. So, having all these similarities is...subverting my expectations a little, I guess. Don't get me wrong here, I think all of these new songs have been absolute bangers (especially Monochrome for me), but overall...instead of being able to say with full confidence that this album WILL be as amazing as the previous (with acknowledgement that BABYMETAL has matured and are no longer babies lol), I'm saying that so far its been amazing, but kinda repetitive. And having these thoughts makes me sad, and also feel like I'm being too critical maybe? I still feel very much that BABYMETAL has no bad songs, I like every single one of them, some more than others, but still...and I'm including the 3 new songs in that opinion. But, I'm hoping that some of the unexpected still happens in the rest of the songs left. Not sure if any of that made much sense but, wanted to get it out anyways lol. Now, for Metal Kingdom itself. I agree wholeheartedly that it has that regal, majesty about it (Kingdom indeed), and both Su and Moa display that feeling exceptionally at this live debut. It's almost cinematic! Like I'm watching the coronation procession of the new Empress and her sister Queen. As always, regardless of my trepidations about song construction, BABYMETAL kills it live. And I'm 100% confident that (even without hearing it) Su's live vocals will be, as always, stable, powerfully, and crystal clear! This I will never doubt! Lol!
