Hikaru is unlikely to join XG, and even if she debuts again on avex, she's likely to debut in XG's junior group. After discussing with avex, she has a great chance of staying in Korea and making her debut again.

Well is not a for sure thing. Simon did say that once Kep1er disbands they will sit down and talk to her to see if they start promoting with her. If you watch their predebut content you see her in their training videos. XG was OT8 before they let her participate in that show to get more exposure.

@@ChRisu_Ojisan I'm aware of that but for me, Hikaru just doesn't really fit their concept (so far). She has a serious case of baby face, I thought she was younger than she actually is before I looked her age up. Doesn't help that the youngest in XG is almost a whole 2 years younger but looks older than her. I don't know, maybe I will feel differently by the time she joins the group (if she does) but right now, her vibe just doesn't really 'go' with XG. I hope to be proven wrong though. This is not to say that I think Hikaru has no talent (far from it), it's just the vibes, I guess, that are clashing for me.

@@glaciemdraco it's all about the way they are making her look in Kep1er. It think making her look like a baby is her role in the group. Now can you imagine adding Hikaru into the Jurin, Harvey, Kokona and Maya rap line ?? ... that is also a reason why Hikaru is so good at dancing too. She practiced with these girls that are perfectionist from what I got off their first interview for the magazine. After reading that interview I respect them and Stan them even more.

Thanks for your reaction to XG!! They’re amazing to watch and beyond talented. I don’t think the song is as random as one of Aespa’s or NMIXX’s songs. I think it’s more like Red Velvet’s Zimzalabim which I love. Looking forward to whatever XG does next! And yeah check out their Mascara choreography videos too. They’re one of the most synchronized groups in J-pop, K-pop or music in general.

I'm a k-pop stan but I can say that XG are superior to most k-pop girl groups in my opinion. They have the attitude, the talent, the visuals, powerful vocals and rap, and even good lyrics that we rarely hear from k-pop girl groups whose lyrics are almost always about a man. XG has a lot of potential to become popular overseas. I hope more people support them because the girls are also very sweet, kind, and hardworking.

Huta is really an all rounder that’s why he’s my ub since debut :,) honestly his album is just perfection I was surprised though because considering the title track is really « in your face » x) I thought the album would be following that scheme but no, a lot of ballads and beautiful vocals like Minhyuk knows how to do perfectly, his cover of Sofa is also a masterpiece !!! I came for the HUTA reaction, haha. I don't know if you do listen parties or anything like that, but you should definitely check out the whole BOOM album. It is usually the rappers who catch me the majority of the time and he's incredible at rapping but his VOCALS. OMG his vocals. I feel like BOOM is probably one of maybe two songs on the album where he actually uses those vocals the LEAST. The rest of the album is very vocal-heavy and it's heaven. Absolutely heaven. And if you didn't listen to his HUTAZONE album back in 2019 you should listen to that too, it's really good. I don't know if you would react to old MVs but if you have never seen it, watch YA. I love BOOM and honestly I think of the two title tracks, I still like YA more. And of course he's eye candy in that MV too.

XG reminds me of Pussycat Dolls as well, and I said it since Tippy Toes, but I feel like you are the first KZfaqr that mentioned it, and happy for it. The center (leader) Jurin resembles Nicole Scherzinger ( the center girl of Pussycat Dolls),they have the similar aura.

Because of the randomness of the song, you can distinguish each member. No member is overshadowed because they have their own line different from each other. About Hikaru, It was planned to include her in the XGALX Project (that later become XG). But we all know Hikaru into GP999 so she didn't obviously didn't debut with XG but with Kep1er. Though, after her contract and her activities ends with Kep1er. She will surely join XG if she don't get tempted by other contracts.
