I just love Death Battle’s creativity. They don’t just show the different power contrasts, but they actually sometimes capture the character’s personality and background in the fight. Also, you guys read my mind. These storylines from the comics should’ve been in the Star Wars films because they make Darth Vader way cooler.

I think the worst thing about that suit is. The man has robot legs. And they gave him shoes that we're too big.

Having watched this a few times from other reaction channels, I've only started to appreciate Vader even more, and even despite him losing. Because if Obito hadn't reached the point that Madara had, he would've been a hard fight but a much more likely victory. It wasn't a battle between a Chosen One vs a Fallen Hero, but a Chosen One vs a God (min. Demi-God) That practically succeeded if it weren't for the writers needing to write in a deus ex machina for Obito and Madara losing.

@@juubi249Tbf they did just use Scarlet Witch last season, so it’s more cause she was super recently used. They did also use Raven before but her episode was back in season 5. They generally like to wait a few seasons before considering reusing characters.

This is probably one of the most somber and saddest deaths we've had in a while. Also, they already did Scarlet Witch vs Zattanna last season, so your matchup isnt happening anytime soon.

The factor wasn't used here, but there is a factor of Vader being particularly vulnerable to lightning attacks. While Obito is specialized in fire based attacks, reaching the 10 tails form would give him access to all 5 nature attacks + ying and yang release. 1 of those elements includes lightning.

As much they hoed Vader in this matchup, you gotta admit it was kinda admirable that Obito gave Vader an short peace of mind before he obliterated the hell of the Sith Lord

24:47 Obito did use the rinnegan. Especially after the sharingan was crushed by the force. Obito summoned the Ten tails using the animal path and then used Pein's version of the force (shinra tensei).

@@tobito2013That's ain't shinra tensei it's more like a gravity manipulation which every rinnegan user's had after they master all the six path of Rinngean to its fully potential which Nagato master so he had telekinesis power not just pulling and repulsive force based on feats like he fight the six tail he's not only using shinra tensei and bansho tenin

I know it's a nitpick, but how is Vader able to block the truth seeking orbs with his light saber? The orbs delete all matter that they touch from existence. Light sabers are made of plasma, the 4th state of matter. They shouldn't be immune from the same effects as other states of matter.

No, it isn't. But power scaling isn't math, there isn't a definitive right answer. Nobody is 100% right, it's all up to your interpretation .

@@Willaim972People actually downplay Naruto due to Boruto hate. Naruto God tiers(due to scaling to Kaguya and Momoshiki) who can create dimensions (with planets, moons and possibly star in it) should be at least star level and possible even Solar system level Also, Truth seeking orbs can nullify energy, destroy souls,attaks and bypass durability. And you could also try to scale Vader higher, but I don't know that much about Star Wars.

@@user-ff6dl9zr7u People downplay because Boruto nerfed them. Sasuke's always tired, and not a brainiac. And Naruto's suddenly allergic to Kurama and doesn't use Six Paths, lol. The novelization for the Boruto movie established the true power of Naruto and Sasuke since it came straight from Kishimoto's script.

EXACTLY! As soon as Obito made Vader see Padme, it realistically should have been over. He wouldn’t have just let him get out of the genjutsu.

So per death battle obi wan beats kaikashi-but Vader loses to this dude who can’t even access his full power on his own. Ya they literally contradict themselves just to fit the mold of who they want to win. And they do it a lot

Kakashi and Obito are on two entirely different levels of power. Kenobi beats Kakashi, yes, but he'd stand absolutely ZERO chance against Obito. Yes, Kenobi beat Vader on Mustafar, but that was an INSANELY close fight, and he only won because Vader wasted his time meeting Kenobi blade-to-blade rather than just cutting loose with the Force, giving Kenobi time to stall and trick Vader into exhausting himself. Had Vader not been blindly attacking in a rage, he would have won that fight. And in spite of losing a lot of his original potential due to the suit, he actually got MORE dangerous due to learning from his mistakes. His rage and skill with the Dark Side also made up for a lot of what he lost. Suit!Vader beat Obi-Wan, and Obito beat Suit!Vader, ergo Obito would FLATTEN Kenobi.

Obi-Wan is a very different character than Vader, as is Obito from Kakashi. Just because Obito won here doesn't mean Kakashi should have won his fight. They mention in one of the black boxes that Vader is prone to succumb to temptation, which is why he fell to the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Obi-Wan is a more focused and disciplined Jedi. With his mind training, it's much more possible he could break out. Not to mention Obito has things that Kakashi does not, like his superior speed, The Ten Tails, Truth Seeking Orbs, and much more.

You should reread the Manga the fight that happened between Kakashi and Obito Obito let Kakashi win so Kakashi could us his Raikiri and remove the curse mark Madara placed on Obito if Obito wanted to kill Kakashi he would of easily done it.

Like they pointed out , they bouth had ways to kill eachother. Even base Obito without the Rinnegan could send Vader to the different dimension and leave him there. Juubito is just overkill.
