I was really impressed with the Heinrich long throw. Dude has seriously improved and I'm glad he's still here and didn't transfer. His heart and soul bleeds husker red. Looking forward to seeing what his future looks like. Dylan looked great as I expected but what I was impressed by more than anything else was the running backs. I actually saw them hitting holes and trucking guys. Also, I think with QBs that can keep the defense honest with their arm will give the running game more opportunities.

Did you hear the crowd when Dylan threw that long TD ?? That "whoh" when the ball was halfway ? That was a _beautiful_ pass. Just the threat of this will freeze their safeties & open up the short game.

Dylan is the real deal! TE's are going to be in the NFL, Fidone is Dylan's Kelce and Lloyd is going to be WR1. The WR room is the best I have seen at this University. RB1 should be E. Johnson and RB2 D. Dowdle. The OL looked significantly better even though they were going against back ups. But Dylan feels like the guy that can shift these guys into the right position when he needs to. Even these back up defenders that played today often found themselves in positions to make big plays, they just couldn't come up with them (they will get there in time). I have no doubt this defense will be top 10 this year, put that with a top 25 passing offense and this team could go easily 10-2 or better this year. I'm hyped for the first time in maybe 3 or 4 years. I truly think the suffering is over for this fan base. I had my wife watch the game and she saw Dylan Raiola and asked me is that guy related to Mahomes they act the exact same and he throws just as well as Mahomes.

Raiola gonna win a Heisman (maybe two) and be the number one overall pick in the 2027 NFL Draft. He's got it all - decision making, athletic ability, leadership, work-ethic, focus, humility, drive, etc. Raiola is already the best QB in the B1G and gives Nebraska a chance to beat any team on the schedule. Nebraska's o-line and special teams have a lot of things to work on. We're comin'!!

Agree about recruiting. NIL brings extra crap to lead to decommits. Dylan looked great and Haarberg is improved and should be used as a curve ball. The run game and Haarberg, and the defense need to be really solid so Take the pressure off Dylan. The ability to run on 3rd and five helps to protect the QB. Being patient because your defense is holding the opponent helps to keep the QB healthy. Kaelin is the emergency QB that can come in for 4 games and retain his redshirt. Glad to hear Bonner had a good day. Was worried he was getting jerked around from WR-FB-WR. He can block and run, so he can set up wide and go into motion into the backfield. This is Fidone’s big year, and he may go proLloyd will NOT lead in receptions but will lead in receptions over 30 yards. A special CB is needed to cover him one on one. Otherwise a safety leaning his way. Too many defenders not playing to judge what we have on defense Too bad for Bell. He was only 155 lbs, up to 175. B. Hill was being hyped as the projected started. Now there is another dozen candidates. .Bootle, Nation, and J. Charles are the guys I am watching.

It helps alot having Mahomes qb coach on your payroll. A ton of upside in the qb room, from all 3. Even with the defense playing light, there were a few sacks that could have happened. Oline is a huge question mark yet. Remember boys and girls, huskers are 5-7 until proven different.

The leadership in the QB room is probably gonna be how the team plays overall. HH is the dual threat and Dylan is the Xfactor! We can win games with either guy. Dylan really seems like a hard worker and a team guy. Who ever stays healthy will play. If it’s Dylan then he’s gonna have to learn how to not get destroyed. There was an extended play that they let go too long. If they were playing Michigan he would’ve lost his head to the edge rusher. You can’t stand in there like high school. I know he’s being told as much. Let the old habits die bud. Someone is going to make a believer out of you. Ask Adrian how these bad intentioned players will twist your injured leg or take your head as a trophy when they get half a chance.

HH I’m sure will play a lot more than we think even if not just at qb. A lot of runs with him to get defenses moving up and use his improved arm for possible home runs

I don't think HH is a lock as 2nd team at all. I think by the time fall comes around, Kaelin will have had the opportunity to throw during the summer months with his receivers. I think he is going to be right there with Haarberg. 2a and 2b.

Dylan wasn't really "groomed" to be a QB when he was super young. He played baseball. He really didn't play competitive football until his Freshman year. He's just a freak athlete. Now, once he decided football was the sport he wanted to focus on, then they really went all in on QB coaches/camps and what not.
