75 year old mother of three (ages 53, 52, 38) here. One would have to be "born yesterday" not to have seen Meghan for the grifting, lying person she was in that interview. My opinion was only substantiate by her after that. That home movie of her taking over the birthday party she was attending, crown, scepter and all shows she must have always been the way she is now. Harry has that blank look on his face in this "engagement interview" and his face has looked increasingly blank since marrying her in my opinion.

She appears to be annoyed when he speaks

She is stressed about him because she knows that he is a dimwit and he can never lead her. She has to control him.

When I watched this when they announced their engagement I immediately had my shackles up for this woman. I didn't like her, didn't trust her and thought gold digger came straight to my mind. I didn't know exactly why I felt like this after only seeing her for 10 mins but she came across to me like nails on a chalk board. I put it down to 'gut instinct'.

I understand now why Will tried to tell him to slow down when they first start dating..

He looks so proud of himself when he talks about her traveling to see him. It’s like : look! This did all this sacrifice for me. Overall, he comes across as very naive and not intelligent at all.

1.5 years of dating and everything you knew about a prince was first hand from him. She is pretty delusional to think people will find that plausible.

Two dates, and she went to Botswana with him, seems a bit fast and not very 'organic'. Harry: 'The stars were aligned,' He was set up by Meg and Marcus.

When they're asked about managing a long distance relationship and Harry starts in before Meghan takes over, Harry leans his head back a little and starts to blink. I think he was looking forward to talking about this bit, and seems a little uncomfortable. He might be a dullard but he is a prince, and he will be used to people not talking over him. When he mentioned 'getting the diaries out', this was his chance to show how busy and important he is with his work, but Meghan keeps the focus on her schedule, her timetable, her work on a midlevel cable show where she wasn't even one of the stars. She was a supporting cast member who played 'the girlfriend'. Meghan averaged about three minutes per episode. But you milk it, girl 😂

She also denies it was a whirlwind - totally contradictory to saying they committed early on. He also said recently that she made a rule of not going more than two weeks apart from each other.

What’s really interesting is Harry claims he never heard of her which is prob true, but in his book he claims that will & Catherine were so in awe of her as they were such big fans of suits. Apparently such big fans he never heard them speak of it. This idea that they have met the most important ppl in the world and the RF have been falling over their feet bc of her, a cable actress no one knew of at the time. That narrative is very likely one meg put together, everytime he talks about Meg he talks about her as if she’s a magical being so much more special than everyone. This seems to me to be very much Meg’s own tale she’s weaved for Harry

So Megain could fly back-and-forth to England to see Harry, but she couldn't fly to California to meet with her husband, Trevor. He was the one flying to meet with her in Canada.

Looking back on this now it’s clear that Harry was in a position he’d rather avoid, he looks fed up and defeated. 😞

Even before the interview started just looking at the way she was holding his hand with both her hands in a claw grip was a red flag of 'controller domination' and he wasn't smiling but seemed to be looking to her intently with a level of fear in his eyes. I didn't need to watch it, I knew.

That was when the claw started...Just look at she has his hand clasped on her knee, then when she wanted more control, she put her other hand over the top of both to contain it. It's sad PH was/is so naive, lacking judgement to be totally misled by this streetwise conniving woman. But, alas, here we all are watching the emasculation of him on a world wide stage. I really don't think he has any idea how much she has taken control of his thoughts and life yet. I think that one sausage short in his childhood, has affected his logic.

That huge red flag was the “WE agreed with never being apart more than two weeks.” Which meant he had to fly her back and forth first class to see him.

I believe she rocked his world to such an extent that he was hooked.

The interview appears to me as if they did not prepare it all. And so as she was making stuff up on the fly, this is the reason why she keeps on looking at him. She keeps looking at him and clenching her jaw because she knows she's saying stuff that Harry didn't have a clue she will say or what she spontaneously lie about. She's probably clenching her jaw cuz he's deviating from the narrative SHE wants to put out there, it is frustrating to her.
