I was actually so confident I could tell all RV members apart 2 years ago, and then I&S Subunit happened and I could barely tell them apart, and then a few weeks ago I saw another RV video and I couldn't tell Yeri, Seulgi, Irene apart. I can confidently say it's gonna take me another year to stop questioning myself.

Red velvet is my ult now. I became a fan during psycho/monster era and I couldnt tell for the death of me which was irene and seulgi. Theyre silhouettes and hair just looks similar the only differentiating feature was seulgi’s eyes

I went to parties quite few times and when I'd get to know new people, somewhen the question of "what music do u listen to?" comes up. Their toxic reactions have gotten me so far that I try to use as many other genres I'm listening too as well and mentioning kpop in the midst of it really shortly. But often times, even if I did that, they'd completely ignore the rest I said. Like I even mention metal/black metal and all they focus on is: "kpop??? those gay men? They all wear makeup and they all look the same" yk, typical xenophobia/racism and a bit of homophobia as well. I'd of course always defend kpop and call out that person for that dumb behaviour but it has gotten so annoying to me that I was always like the only one who was against those generalisations and racism that I simply now try to avoid mentioning or revealing myself as a kpop stan.
