I believe the song describes a man that is in love with a woman who may not even know he exists and he fantasizes about her, so much so that he dreams about her only to wake and find himself alone, caressing his pillow.

I read an article once about the song. This song was written by a Salvadoran whom came across José José at the airport. It was back at the time of the civil war in El Salvador. The guy handed a note and it was this song. I don't know if this was true or not, but I really hope it was, because it's an amazing story!

In the song, she isn't with him anymore maybe because of his fault. In pain he fall more in alcohol (maybe the reason she left) and returns home deliring she's still there, and tries to bring up her passion talking and caressing but she doesn't respond, no love no argue, finally he awakes and discover painfully it is only the pillow and that desperate him so he may be will use again alcohol to be with her.

Deberían de pausar los videos porque la plataforma puede darles strike y luego de tres cierran su canal. Creo que las pausas son cada siete segundos, en la que pueden comentar y dar disculpas por las pausas para evitar los derechos de autor.
