I always got the feeling that LC knew how to separate parts of her life: personal, and what was filmed. Even for Laguna Beach, it seems like maybe she and Stephen agreed never to kiss/etc on camera, and she didn't really do anything on camera that she would regret later on. I think that's what people pick up on when they say they don't like LC, because she's more savvy when it comes to filming, whereas the other cast didn't really filter much. She just seems different than her peers on camera.

Jessica not getting mad at Kristen is probably related to Jessica having poor boundaries at this point. But Kristen is behaving very ego-driven and I get why some of the other girls get sick of it. She's the friend who always is the loudest, needs the attention and control.

Timmy mixing up Morgan and Alex M and being so serious saying “the real question is... Jessica’s *enemy*...” cracked me up 😂

When you do "previously on screviously" it feels as comforting to me as coming home after a long day. I love it.

Why is everyone tip toeing around Kristen? Her kissing Jeff was a total asshole move. And then laughing about it at the nail salon. Yes, she’s pretty and fun and charismatic. But she’s actually incredibly toxic. I have never seen her care about any of her girlfriends. And I’m talking about all the shows she’s been on.

It's heartbreaking to me that Jessica truly believed that Kristin was prettier and better than she was.

I honestly love LC and Kristin! Their personalities are polar opposite but they balance each other out. And I love that now they're both businesswomen.

This dinner with Stephen and LC was her letting go of him because she wasn’t falling for his BS this time. She knew that he took Kristin out for dinner on Valentine’s Day, that’s why she kept asking him about her to see what he would say and she was just over it. Enter Jason the next episode and Stephen is jealous lol😂😂😂.

Kristin is great at calling it like it is..... except when it comes to her own behavior. Self reflection was not (and most likely is not) her strong point.

I feel like Tim cuts so much slack for Kristen yet is overly critical towards LC. I think what Kristen did in this episode is very messed up. It is not right to get away from this without owning up to it. LC was pretty controlling as a friend but much more caring than Kristen. I like both of the girls, they both have their good and bad sides.

Let’s take a shot every time Timmy rolls his eyes every time Lauren breaths, blinks, says something or even appears on the screen.

Kristin is definitely confident and fun, but she's also callous and doesn't seem to be one who EVER apologizes, which is a huge pet peeve of mine. She reminds me of some friends who can never admit when they are wrong.

I love them, but I do feel like Timmy and Whit always excuse Kristin’s horrible behavior by saying “she’s confident and knows what she wants” uhmm not, she was mean for no reason and a very bad friend who clearly does not know how to say sorry! Yet, they always criticize Lauren

There is the brown haired Morgan (Christina’s friend from the first season) and then there is the blonde hair Morgan from the nail salon run in that’s friends with Taylor and Alex. She randomly shows up in scenes on season 2 and is the one that Kristin is always cool with.

I would like to think Whitney does like Lauren since she had her on her podcast and make it seem like they were still cool. I hate to say it but that would make Whitney another Heidi. Pretending to care about a friendship you had while also talking about that person. They only one unbothered is Lauren

My friends that went to Laguna Beach high school this year said Kristen acted like she ran the school. “Mean girl” She had an inflated ego! Which is totally understandable as she was so young at the time and given so much fame.

I love your reaction videos and have been watching religiously from the original hills new beginnings videos - BUT I really think you guys need to go deeper on the Lauren dislike/ bashing. I’m not a hardcore Lauren fan by any means but from an outsider perspective it seems as if you make excuses for literally every person on the show (and on the hills) except for LC, when I really don’t think Lauren has done anything wrong on either show - she was loved for a reason! And the proof is in how successful she has been and continues to be, is that what this is all about?

I have a theory about the appearances of Jen Bunney in this season, and Lo not being around. When we get to the Hills, there's an argument between LC and Jen about things they don't go into, but the rumor was that someone was telling gossip sites info about her. For awhile, she thought it was Lo but it turned out to be Jen. And I think it all started during this season bc it went on for awhile. After that argument, Lo was back.

Channel News: Jeff was the same guy who Alex H kissed on the winter formal episode… he hooked up with the 3 friends 😂😂😂 Also Im glad that Tim admits that Lauren annoys him, because is pretty clear… they probably wont tell us why they dont like her (and they are in all the right to not like her) but the funny thing is you guys have been doing videos of two shows about a person you clearly don’t like… is a little illogical.

I never thought Lauren and Stephen had chemistry but I like them as friends.

So I like Lauren. Yes she’s not perfect but I think throughout she tries to be herself but she also doesn’t want all her personal business out there, she’s a teenager who’s also trying not to embarrass her family, which is maybe why she comes off as fake sometimes. When you get to the Jason and Lauren scences, where it ends badly, you actually hear dieter whisper to her to keep it together and hold it until later. I think Lauren, Stephen, dieter and maybe some of the others seem so awkward sometimes because they don’t want their actual whole lives on display. I bet the conversations we see are awkward because they don’t want to actually discuss stuff on film and that’s why we see so many “meaningful” looks without words. Now I’ve always found Kristen to be a bit bratty, she’s kind of hypocritical, if anyone had done to her what she did to Jessica she would have flipped, even if they weren’t really her friend. But they act like she’s very truthful, when she’s actually admitted that she played up the bitchiness and mean girl stuff for the show, and she’s said just about all the stuff on the hills was actually fake, that she basically had an outline script that she followed. To me that shows that although Lauren was more reserved she might have actually been there more real of the two. I honestly think that’s one of the reasons Lauren left the hills, because it was starting to no longer be based on actual reality and the producers were trying to dictate and create fake drama and she wasn’t ok doing that. Maybe I feel for Lauren a little because I’m a more self contained person like she seems to be and I do think that comes off as standoffish sometimes even if it’s not actually that. All that said, it’s ok if Tim doesn’t like lauren, especially since he’s actually only reacting to the character since he’s never even met the actual person before. And I think Whitney’s friendship with Lauren was probably not as close as the hills made it seem, I know I’ve had work friends whom I’ve talked to a lot but once I left the job we never really stayed in touch, that’s just kinda life. And idk if Lauren did just talk about herself but it’s very possible that they had actual mutual conversations where Whitney talked about her life as well but they cut that because it’s not what they wanted for the show. Plus, Whitney has even said that the producers would make them talk about certain things for the camera so it’s not really Lauren’s fault if the conversations were very one sided.

It should just be called Laguna Beach Season 2 : Poor Jessica. Kristin knowingly made out with Jeff in front of everyone. That’s got to sting.

I think it’s okay that Timmy doesn’t like Lauren & I don’t care if they never reveal the reason why they don’t like her even though it seemed like Whitney still liked her in the podcast interview. What I find strange & even hypocritical is, if you don’t like someone why bother reacting to a show that’s almost entirely about them? The Hills was Lauren’s show and she may not have been as prominent in season 2 of Laguna Beach but she was still considered a main character & she was well liked by fans and the media when it was airing (hence why she was given an entire show about her life…). It seems so shady to me that Tim & Whit clearly don’t like Lauren yet are reacting to shows about her life and leaving in reactions of them rolling their eyes, awkward pauses, critical comments, etc. They might not be outright saying why they don’t like Lauren but leaving those bits in make them seem passive aggressive and even jealous, especially on Whitney’s end. Maybe Lauren could sense this and that’s why she distanced herself? I do really like their reactions to the rest of the episodes but it’s hard to justify continuing to watch when it’s clear there is major bias against one of the main characters for seemingly no reason. We were all teenagers once and behaved in ways we are not proud of so making funny comments is fine but they are way harsher on Lauren than they are on any of the other characters. If they are doing these reaction videos to earn income “for their family” they might want to do so with a bit more integrity than what they are currently displaying.

Has Timmy ever expressed WHY he seems to dislike Lauren so much? I mean, how do you make excuses for people (Heidi, Audrina, now Kristen) but somehow Lauren always gets the short end of the stick? Again, why rag on Lauren and yet Interview her? Did we need the views? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I get why people say Lauren was "controlling" in her friendships, but if they actually look at the situation AS A WHOLE (things seen on & off camera), then it's EVIDENT that even though there were definitely times where she was in the wrong, at the end of the day, she really did have her friends best interest at heart. I mean, 18 years later and out of EVERYONE from Laguna Beach to The Hills, Lauren is the most successful.

I feel like if Lauren kissed her best friends love interest people would be demolishing her yet when Kristin does it and isn't even really apologetic about it, somehow it's "yeahhh she knew what she did was wrong" jussss sayinnnn...but also I find Kristins "cool girl" demeanor a bit more irritating than Laurens goodie goodie persona so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Here’s my take on the Lauren/Timmy/Whitney thing. I’m thinking something happened after Lauren was on Whitney’s podcast. When they first started reacting to The City, in one of the first episodes there’s a scene where Whitney called Lauren. When the scene came on Whitney was like “Awe, Lauren!” Was was super excited. Then Lauren was on her podcast, then Whitney & Timmy started reacting to The Hills & boom, the hate for Lauren begins. So I definitely think something happened after the podcast. The BIG question is how can Lauren bug Timmy & he likes Kristin?? Kristin was nothing but a mean girl! Poor Lauren out there somewhere running her brand, never mentioning any of these people, & probably has no clue the hate she gets.

I’m obviously just guessing but I could see being friends with Kristin playing a part in Alex H’s lack of a love life and lack of confidence. Kristin is the girl that gets all the attention from guys and is a huge flirt with everyone (case in point she was flirting and kissing Jeff with Jessica at the same party) so being friends with someone like that isn’t always easy.

I remember listening to the laguna biotch podcast with Alex h, her and Kristen move to LA to start an event (?) business but have huge fight/s so she moved out of their apartment and away from LA. They stopped being friends and she now lives in Hawaii with her husband and kids

It's refreshing to re-visit reality tv when the cast would wear their own clothes. They all are fresh-faced and look their age. The overdone look is starting to annoy me 😒

I think we all love Timmy because he gives voice to the minds of reality tv producers. As a huge bravo fan this is incredibly enjoyable content and also very insightful. I also love how him and Whitney make each other laugh and smile which is truly all I want in a relationship at the end of the day. Thank you for all the smiles guys 😊

HOLY SHIT! I loved the knowledge from Timmy where they are going to shoot LC and Stephen just by the set up of the restaurant. I would have never picked up on that, even though I’ve watched this so many times!!

In a virtual meet up LC was showing Whitney how to put on mascara and Whitney randomly plugged her discontinued series ‘the city’ which was so weird and unnecessary. They don’t like LC but live in her shadow. LC could have a reality show about brushing her teeth and it would be pure gold because LC has the ‘it factor’ and none of them do. I rather Whitney stop being fake with LC though, if you don’t like her I dare you to have a ‘career’ or income that isn’t tied to LC. SMH 🤦🏽‍♀️
