This is an interesting interview with an interesting title. Meghan Markle makes it a bit hard to believe that she had no idea who Prince Harry or the Royal Family are! I find the start of the interview funny how they both suddenly start to love each other.

I voted Brexit so that we would be able to pass the Animal Rights Act 2021 (which the EU political system had been blocking.) So now amongst other things, anyone who abuses animals, or even runs a puppy mill, can get a prison sentence. I thought Megsie baby would want that? You know being such a compassionate, authentic and organic person? 😅

“Salt of the earth” is a very common expression to use here in the UK, to describe nice, natural people you meet. I think she knew masses about us over here, loads about the RF, even that we say series as opposed to seasons mostly. We went from being warm and welcoming to driving her out because of racism?! She gushes and is so fake.

"Salt of the earth" is a very common expression in every language and all over the world, simply because it's in the Bible (Gospel of Matthew). "Le sel de la terre" in my language.

We DO use the term 'series' in UK. But her claim (at 2.43) that Suits "...ran so well here in the UK" is totally false. Suits was unheard of here in UK (we did have Boston Legal though), and people certainly hadn't heard of Meghan Markle. We had to Google her to find she was some D list actress and we still didn't know who she was. Our reaction was pretty much "who?" "where?... Oh, not a real actress then!" Now we wish we could go back to never knowing who she was 😂

Suits was just a Canadian cable series and she was NOT the star. She was 6th in the credits and was only ever on an episode for 10 minutes. Hardly a Hollywood star so, as she was never a Hollywood star, she cannot make a comeback. It was never a big hit in the UK. Nobody had even heard of her before she married Hapless, so at season 3, she wasn't known here

It was filmed in Canada but it wasn't Canadian. Not set in Canada, not a Cdn network. Schitt's Creek was a Canadian show. Not Suits.

As someone who immigrated to the UK from an English speaking country, I didn't know a season was called series until I moved here BUT I did know that the national anthem was God Save the Queen (now King)...Meghan saying that she knew it was 'series' instead of 'season' but didn't know the national anthem according to the Oprah interview is asinine.

Meghan's trying to sound as if she knows the intricacies. 'Seasons' and 'series' are inter-changeable in the entertainment industry. A 'series' is your show. A 'season' is how to describe the # of episodes. Such as the 'series' Suits is in its second 'season'.

Ragzilla never heard of the royals and yet as a young lady her room appeared as a shrine of the royals. She is even posing with a magazine with Princess Catherine on the cover. She has a pic of her in front of one of the palaces when she went on vacation in the UK. She adored Princess Diana too. Ragzilla not knowing the royals is like me not knowing whom Michael Jackson was. I was a huge fan of the Jacksons. Ragzilla is a sick liar.

They keep saying #1 show. So here in Greece it played for a while on the lowest rating channel..this is a channel that has telemarketing all day till evening and then around 6pm they start putting repeats of different series Greek and American. I would watch the Nanny but when ever suits came on I would turn channel. Never had I seen it never knew Megs and for some reason never even saw one episode out of curiosity just to see what it was about. After the Harkles got together I sat and saw one episode just to see what all the excitement was about and this was my reaction 😶 and never saw another episode. I don't think they even have it on anymore.

I think it was number 1 show on USA channel, not the United States of America. Interviewer messed up and Meghan didn’t correct. She’s a world traveller (Rwanda, Brazil, photo in front of Buckingham Palace as a teenager), majored in international relations, lived in Canada (a common wealth nation, the queen was on the money!) and stayed at SoHo House London long enough that they keep her luggage there (all info she tells) and tries to convince us that she didn’t know the royal family and who Prince Harry was?! Yeah right! The amount of verifiable lies she said in the Oprah interview is staggering. She thinks she’s so smart, but didn’t have the sense to keep from lying on the world stage where every lie was proven wrong. This is just another stupid lie, most likely said so she didn’t look like a gold digger.

I doubt it was even a #1 show on the network. Scrolling the menu I don't even remember ever seeing it or ads for it. It was a waste land here concerning the program. A #1 show here may have a couple people who go on to movies after their show. George Clooney started on a weekly series. Matthew Perry, Brad Pitt are also several I remember right now. Haven't heard of anyone saying they got their start on Suits and now come see their new movie

I seen the ads for Suits during 2012. When my son was born, I was soooo tired from work. So all I would do as soon as I got home was hang out on the couch with my son, feeding him, and watch TV. But I didn't watch any episodes. I was more of an AMC and FX channel viewer. USA did show alot of movies and reruns of Law and Order:SVU. Thats why I went to that channel for.

There are 'seasons' to every 'series'. That's why she bragged about being with her series show 'Suits' for seven 'seasons'. It's all about the amount of episodes, usually 13 or 26 per year.

I think she showed a more flattering image here cause this was Lizzie Cundy, at the time Lizzie was asked by Markle to set her up with a rich British man. So while there’s small drops of her narcissism here, like not believing she has to put in the work to be prepared, it was a very different interview than the one she did with the other carpet event. The guy that interviewed her had nothing to offer, she didn’t like hearing how the character she was portraying was considered a love interest and she ended up taking hijacking the interview and making subtle hints of domination that was passive aggressive that shows her bullying behavior that has been notorious for a while now. Whereas here, Markle made more of an effort to show that she was a classy ladies that brought on the charm effects that was what Lizzie experienced till Markle dropped her when she hooked up with Harry.

I had NEVER heard of suits until she got with Harry. And I've still never seen an episode. I bet it was the number 1 show on the USA network possibly. But I don't think USA was a top network. This woman interviewing her has said she befriended Meghan and that Meghan was looking for a famous British boyfriend. This is around the time she told her new PR people to make her a humanitarian. She had a goal and was moving up the ladder.

The people in the states never heard of it either. Maybe it was only on the USA network that broadcast in Canada. Our television network is different here. Until cable appeared there was only free programming on all channels. Cable came and you could start paying and deciding what you wanted to pay for in various package deals. Now free channels offer little good programming, even local shows, like when Phil Donahue got his start. I know as I live in the city where Phil got his start. He took a show on for someone else who went to NY to work in TV. There are some game shows but......

I think the info these interviewers are being fed is due to misunderstandings. The show did well on the channel it was aired on (USA Network) compared to other shows on the channel, not the USA as a country. But M being M, she isn’t going to correct them if it makes her look good.

I had never heard of "Suits" until the "engagement interview". That birthday party video told us all we needed to know about Meghan. I know she was a child but taking over another child's birthday party like that is out of the norm - at least it used to be - it may very well be normal these particular days.🙄

Yes we say series …. Never watched Suits , had never heard of it til we had Rachel Ragland stuffed down our throats. She knew EVERYTHING about our RF . Modesty is not her strong point. 🙄

No 1 shows as far as I was concerned were...things like Breaking Bad, The Wire, How I met your mother, Friends etc. That's not an exhaustive list of course. Zillion others. Suits would not be on my personal list....MEDIOCRE GARBAGE. To be cast in The Wire for example you REALLY NEEDED TO BE ABLE TO Portray a character REALLY REALLY WELL. It was excellent excellent show. Unforgettable characters, Stringer Bell, Bunk Moreland ( who plays her father in Suits) HE was brilliant as Bunk Moreland... But my absolute favourite was/ is OMAR DEVONE LITTLE. How he meets his demise....cut me up. Wow don't get me onto The Wire...I won't stop.....😅😂😅😂😂😅

This is really frustrating me! With this The Number One Show - what???? I have worked in the entertainment industry for decades in LA and have never ever ever heard of the show 'Suits' - until she and Harry became a public item. Btw that's Lizzie Cundy, whom Meghan befriended and then was also ghosted after she met Harry.

She doesn't have an elevator pitch because she's not interested in talking up anyone else's role. She's only interested in talking up her own role and the fact that she's so wonderful that she's still there after 4 seasons!!! Also, she keeps pulling away from the interviewer like the interviewer has bad breath!!!

I had never ever heard of Suits and I do watch a lot of TV 🙄 I believe she is desperate to be famous and actually has faked her way to where she is. Now everyone can see through her act because she’s horrible at it! 🤮

Your analysis is terrific! It's somewhat triggering to have to look and listen to her 🤮, but you uncover a lot of her lies in the process (like her total unawareness of the RF). She's not a good actress, but I can imagine her fake "compassion" speeches could influence lots of naive people.

😂😂 i’m American and I’ve never heard of Suits and I’ve never heard of Meghan Markle up until Harry put out that ridiculous statement on something that never happened that was debunked right then and there I knew she was gonna be trouble because I’ve never seen a royal girlfriend ever do any sort of this shit that she was doing😂 and Suits is not even her show
