My favorite video of yours so far! I learned more about playing live from this video than just about anything else I've seen. Thank you for the honest and genuine breakdown, it was awesome!

To share your stage with someone else requires, I think that you'd be both good and generous. Daniel is both of these
@pollyshouldntbe
I just saw Daniel play with Phil Lesh and Friends last night. I didn't know him before the show and I'm an inatant fan. He's incredible!

I'm in Teton Village tonight on a road trip. Daniel Donato is playing at the Mangy Moose and I'm going because of this video

That's awesome! What a cool experience. Daniel seems like a super nice guy and it was fun to watch him smile, react, and play around. This is a great lesson (from all of you guys) about listening to what's going on around you and adapting. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!

Thank you for your example of a life, lived well. Courage and joy, love and excitement, honesty and humor. Shine on. 💖
@Custom_Curbs
It feels like you were just playing and not worrying about it at all. Like you were in a grove.

Had the pleasure of seeing cosmic country in hobart indiana, small club, first dd show. Mind was blown cant wait to see him again
@harryharrison4749
Your react videos are great but these ones are on a whole different level - they're a great insider view into how to think about playing music and approach viewing the chords and target notes in a complete way. I learn much more from these than the react ones as noone else on KZfaq does these type of videos. Best part of this video is the sheer delight on your face whilst your playing! I'd be terrified 😂

The humility and ease Michael has with pointing out his mistakes in front of a lot of people is the best lesson. My expectations of myself are too high and I'm way too hard on myself.

Love this video, Michael! Your honesty about your playing and your thought process during this song are just so cool. Daniel is an absolute BOSS and he was quite gracious to hang back and let you take so many leads! What a generous, and humble move on his part. Such a mature player to be so young. Us musicians are our own worst critics, but you kicked a$$ up there! This was by far one of my favorite videos you’ve done yet! Thanks 🙏

Thank you for the play by play. I had no idea you pros are communicating so much on stage.

How cool was that! What an experience. Daniel is a real Uber talent and you were definitely not out of place in this.

I like how restrained and tasteful your playing is here, I think you captured the spirit of their song successfully.
